Primary logo looks rushed. Old logo is 100x better and I get they wanted a different brand but this logo looks like a clip art, logo and does not look like a professional, NHL Logo. The wordmark is even worse. Hopefully this is a temporary identity and they use this year to prefect it.
Also the maple leaf looks forced and on the word mark it looks like '. The looks like Jet's

Which is what they were going for. It's model after the Canadian air force logo. They basicly modernized it and slapped a jet clip art on it

Well us Winnipegers like it. Winnipeg has a history in making jets a strong history with the air force/army. The jet owners also wanted a maple leaf somewhere and needed to get toronto's approval to use it

Well after 15 years Bettman lets hockey come back to Winnipeg. Thanks for wasting 15 years

My problem is it looks like they forced the maple leaf. Here is a concept which I think is amazing and would have worked well. I did not make this but it made me realize, i dont like the silver plane
