Ronnie Brown
Ernest Wilford
Ted Ginn
Renaldo Hill
What do you guys think of these news?

All sounds about right. The Jason Allen drama is still fascinating to me. I know he's not the smartest guy in the world but he has to be better than Hill and Crocker.

Great news about Hill! more so because it takes crocker off of the field.
-
Looks good to me. Just glad to see Crocker outta the line up. Hill will do a better job. Wish Jason Allen would get some playing time though.
-
Ronnie won't be 100% until next year. I'm fine with him and Ricky sharing the load.
Ernest Wilford plays better in games but he just doesn't seem to be stepping up at all.
Ted Ginn should be on the field until he passes out. The Phins have to find out exactly what the have in him.
Renaldo Hill starting tells me that Jason Allen is a bust. The only reason he isn't starting has to be because he doesn't grasp the D. -
Disappointing to hear about Jason Allen but I'm glad that POS Crocker has been benched in favor of Renaldo Hill. Sounds like Sparano is being tough on them after the embarrassment last week.

Good to see Ronnie Brown getting first team reps. He impressed me against Arizona. He was looking for contact and trying to make a play. I liked it. However, this means nothing if they don't give him at least 20 total touches.
As for Wilford, what a disappointment man. He'll be gone as soon as possible.
Glad to hear about Ginn. Maybe we'll see him get a pass thrown his way this week against the Patriots. I still want to see him at KO's. He also needs to do his own part of being physical and getting separation. He can be in the lineup all he wants but if he can't do those things, hes useless.
Again, not happy with the Safety decision unless you will be running a 5 sub DB package like I said in my thread. Other than that, I want to see Jason Allen out there. Allen looked very good in training camp and I liked him in preseason but now he's not even being discussed as a possible starter? Not good imo. He made plays last year and has a better chance of doing so this year than Hill and Crocker. -
I think Hill is the best of the lot. J.Allen is a bust, never should have taken him.

wow, what a disappointment Allen is. I thought he made tremendous strides. Guess not.

ive got Ronnie on my bench in two leagues. im patiently waiting to blow someones day up.

Disagree about JA as well, he can play anywhere in the Defensive Backfield, he just cannot make the Coverage Adjustments in order for him to start.
I'd be happy to see JA as the nickel back or third safety in the 3-5-3..
The best role for JA is to put him on the field and just let him play whatever slot. -
-
great news getting Crocker on the bench. Hopefully Ayodele is next
-
If he athletic enough to play OLB at 270 pds, he can play the middle and run and stuff...gafinfan likes this. -
I would like to see Porter in the middle with Anderson playing outside linebacker. Its worth a try.
-
In my revamp
Roth=ILB/Ayodele has a seat
Lehan=Goodman becomes the Dime back
Torbor=SOLB
R. Hill=FS Crocker has a seat
Jason Allen=Nickel Back maybe starting over Lehan or Goodman.
A position switch for Roth and JA?
Yes, JA is a better athlete then Goodman or Lehan and CB would take advantage of Allen's Athleticism, and Roth can cover much and run better then Crowder or Ayodele IMO. -
Why do I get the feeling that we are at the movies watching The Searchers with Bill playing John Wayne's part while everyone else is running around helter skelter. This show is not what I was hoping to have happen this year, oh well, back to the drawing board.:pity::cry::lol:

WHY THE HELL IS LEHAN NOT STARTING!!!!!
Sorry, i had to let that out, the dude looked nimble and quick when he intercepted that pass.............1 MONTH AGO..
He must be injured because theres no way goodman should be out there over him..
If goodman starts again were gonna get blown out againRocky Raccoon and HULKFish like this. -
can we fairly label jason allen a bust yet?
i've never liked this kid, even when we drafted him. even last year i was calling him a bust, i was getting lambasted by the "development" birds on here. hey, he's had plenty of time. if he can't even come in on certain packages and is buried on the chart, he's a bust. period.
wilford is completely useless... we should have cut him prior to the season and kept foster or someone else we could use. -
-
i am by no means a depth expert on every position on the team, but are you telling me we didn't need an extra LB, DB or any other body over wilford's roster spot? -
we should at least keep him for depth. he's not a game-changer, but he's DEFINITELY serviceable and better than 65% of the other linebackers we have on the roster.... why wouldn't we re-sign/extend him?
