oh and NFL teams, this is how you overcome a devastating loss. you forget it and win your conference the next year. Coughlin is a great coach
both teams are pretty banged up, these injury reports are going to make the line move... should be interesting. So many subplots to the SB game now though. Giants will be looking to affirm their sb win that some say was lucky (with what Tyree did)... Pats will be looking for revenge of course... crazy stuff.
There are still more points that are off of the other phases. It's very simple. On a typical game you have about 120 plays between offense and defense and about 12 on STs. No matter how much you want to pretend, the 120 plays have more of an impact than the 12.
Martin Mayhew is smart, he'd fire that dude as soon as he has a decent enough reason, completely wrong temperment for a successful HC and it carries over to his players our on the field, ditch him ASAP Detroit.
Funny you say that. During the wildcard game between Detroit and New Orleans, my wife happened to come down to the mancave and Schwartz was on the screen. She looked at me and said, "Who is that guy, he looks like a dick." LOL.
Not at all. I just facebooked that exact thing but deleted it because I wasnt quite so eloquent with it
Only in your mind. Every statistical regression disagrees with you. Even basic logic disagrees with you when you pretend that those dozen plays have a larger impact than the other 120. You watch the game and you ignore the impact of all of those third down stops or third down conversions but claim that a short return set up a TD. In fact, you even ignore the TD and claim it could never have happened without the return. Any reasonable person understands that a STs turnover is big, but so is an interception or fumble during the other phases. The disparate impact is only in your mind.
i would expect him to play... for the Giants... Chase Blackburn, how's he doing? Cruz and Nicks both got dinged a good deal today too.
