I can't get enough of how gorgeous NBC HD's picture and sound is compared to... everything else. (And of course how horrendous and inconsistency CBS's sound quality is).
I got Packers in this game. Dallas CB's struggle even though they may be better off without Roy Williams. Pacman isn't the man in coverage who they thought he would be thus far. Is Terrence Newman healthy yet? Anthony Henry has good instincts but doesn't have the speed anymore and that will be a factor going up against Greg Jennings. Rodgers can make all the throws as can Romo. Packers had three interceptions last week against Kitna I believe, including two by Charles Woodson.
I was gonna start a thread, but thought it'd probably get spammed, but I feel firm about this. So I'll post here anyway. Prediction: The Cowboys will lose, and Romo will struggle big-time tonight! Why? Because Perez Hilton went on Howard Stern, and told the world how twinky dirt-bag John Mayer LOVED giving it to Jessica Simpson in the "balloon knot". He further went on to say how he was making out (Perez Hilton that is) with John Mayer, while JEssica gave some hand relief to the crooner. No man wants to hear that about his lady. he's pissed. he's distracted. he's gonna lead them to a loss.... and probably break up with her in the next few weeks.
As long as TO, Dallas D, Packers D, Rodgers, Jennings, and Witten don't put up negative fantasy points, I'm guaranteed wins on all my teams this week. I really believe that barring injury and Jessica Simpson stupidity-transferring ambushes, we may see this matchup again in the playoffs and possibly conference championship.
how do you think John Madeen feels about broadcasting in Green Bay without Favre being there? Posted via Mobile Device
Sorry, he's not paying any attention to the game it seems. He's looking at the Jets-Chargers pre-game analysis tomorrow.
How so? McFadden might be faster but Felix imo is just the better back. Now with that speed McFadden has he can take it to the house but if he lines up behind center I would expect him to have around 3.5-4.0 YPC, now they should use him on Strong tosses or pitches I don't think he can run between tackles.
He's the total package. He can run, catch, and even pass if you need him too. Also for a RB he's not huge at about 210 but he is quite tall, elusive, and fast. Plus I guess I've seen a lot of him playing in the SEC the last few years and have a lot of respect for him. The guy can just play and has that 'it' factor.
He is stronger than Reggie Bush, who I'd say is a guy who cant run between the tackles. McFadden has looked good running the ball the last two weeks that I saw him play. Just based off his college career and his first few weeks in the league I'm not sure why people would doubt that he can run the ball well in the league.
He reminds me of Bush as well but the reason being is that he reminds me of Bush and Adrian Peterson fused together. Look Alen I'm not saying Felix Jones won't be good because he has looked good tonight and this season but I just think McFadden will be more successful.
Strong? 13 reps of 225 pounds strong? He runs upright which I guess he likes to get popped. Fumbling, everytime he touches the ball he can either put the ball on the turf or in the endzone for 6, I guess take the bad with the good. I believe Felix Jones actually had the better career at Arkansas. Sure not the eye popping numbers but Jones was solid throughout, some games McFadd disappeared in some games. He didn't run that great today but he has a toe injury. I have to eat some crow though Reggie Bush is finally showing his skill what he can do when he has the ball.
It'd be a mistake to equate a RB's strength with bench press. The str I was refering to is his ability to break tackles, and not go down too easily. I've seen him run between the tackles (at Arkansas and w/ Oakland), and he looks more comfortable doing it than Reggie Bush ever did. I'm not saying Jones wont be a better back. He could be, and it wouldnt surprise me at all tbh. I'm just not sure why there is so much hate for Mcfadden when he's looked pretty good so far.
