NFL Owners approved a resolution to allow a communication device to be put in the helmet of a defensive player.
Each defense will be allowed to have one player on the field wearing the helmet, likely a linebacker. The Patriots voted against this rule last year, but supported it post-spygate (PS). The owners won't vote on a rule limiting the length of hair until their May meeting.

I think its an interesting note that Patriots support it after they got busted.
