Not to devote another thread to Michael Thomas, but this is a great piece written by Michael Silver on yesterday's unlikely hero. Enjoy

I love this dude already. Seeing someone so humble in the NFL is rare.

Also, Thomas will be on Lebatard in a few minutes if anyone is interested in hearing him.

Same here, just a little watery eyed. No tears streamed. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

The interception was a nice play, but Brady threw it right to him. Give credit where credit is due though, he was in the right place at the right time.

The breakup on the pass to Amendola was just outstanding play. The ball was perfectly placed and he broke it up anyways.

I know it's just two plays, but I'm really hoping we found our #2 corner here.

It was a nice defensive play call. Finally called something that would cut off that pass, which they were throwing all game.

On most INT's the ball is thrown close enough to the player for him to make the play. Otherwise the INT would not happen. It's that he was in he right position, made the right read, and then made the play. Good coaching call also as Rhody noted.

But, he made two plays in a row. Great stuff for him.

I'm not sure it was the call. He said something about drifting back so the receiver couldn't get behind him (He wasn't in the endzone much, said they wanted a catch and tackle in field of play)

I think he may have just read Brady and drifted back.

That said it was a rookie mistake by Brady.

Yup looking at replays the ball was way low if Brady saw him. Brady clearly missed him or it was a errant throw.
