I believe they were from their senior season in 2012. Hunter was a full 1 year starter though 3 years at Tennessee and Patterson was a JC player who transferred to Tenn in 2012. Hunter would have been the starter all year in 2011 but tore up the knee in the 3rd game. Very little film of Hunter before his knee injury since you would have to go back to early 2011 to see him that year and he was a backup in 2010.
While we're on the subject of Draft Winds featurettes that haven't been made yet, there's also this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul91__cokpw
I think he has a strong chance of being just an average player, so IMO using a more valuable pick on him won't give him more ability or make him a better player. For instance, I thought Aaron Maybin would bust, so regardless of what round he went in it would've been a wasted pick, as a bust is a bust. For me, the value for Moore where I'd feel comfortable using a pick on him is in the 3rd-4th round, but that's just me.
Kevin Minter under 6 foot at 5' 11 3/4, 246 4.82 40, didn't look very good running. Alec Ogletree 6-2 1/2 242 lbs. 33 1/2' arms 4.62 40 Sean Porter 6-1 1/4" 229 lbs 32 1/4 " arms 4.78 40 didn't look nearly as good running as i expected AJ Klein 4.68
I wouldn't use that adjective because I feel like this player likes and feels comfortable catching the ball within a certain radius, I also feel he's uncomfortable to a degree when it's not in that wheelhouse...have I seen him catch the ball outside that box, sure, consistently, no, I think he has some issues with it, I really do. I have Tavon Austin as the more dangerously consistent player and head to head would take Austin.
One of my favorite WRs. Didn't run bc he pulled a hammy: http://blogs.dailymail.com/marshall/2013/02/24/no-running-for-dobson-at-nfl-combine/
3 good forties coming up here: Te'o, Chase Thomas, and Cornelius Washington. Cut to a commercial before Te'o.
Hah, they wouldn't dare. The Vegas over/under on Te'o by the way was 4.77 so I expect something like a 4.72 unofficial.
Thanks for that, I would really like if we could identify depth for our line backing core that we can get excited about, I'm not sure where very good in that dept, last depth player I really thought had potential was Chris McCoy, who just signed a nice contract with the eagles.
Corny Washington to run with the LBs at 265- if anything imo Mingo should have run with the OLBs at 240 lbs.
4.53 Cornelius Washington!!! .....and he popped up too soon. Totally passes the eyeball test as well.
Don't like the unofficial 4.81 for Te'o. It doesn't translate to the range he shows on the football field.
Oh hai, Cornelius! Thanks for showing everyone a little early why I created this video for an upcoming Draft Winds featurette on you.
I don't think that I've seen a DL or LB run better than Corny Washington, in terms of time and how they looked running, that was a memorable run and he made some money there.
Really really watch that video of him at the Senior Bowl, and he had a more impressive overall game than Ezekiel Ansah, IMO. Except unlike Ansah, he had a great week of practice leading up to it.
Agreed. Ogletree blew the 2nd attempt at 40, given a mulligan, ran exact same 4.62 as 1st attempt. Good wheels, but to my amazement Washington runs faster and much smoother. Despite a solid 4.62 i'm a little let down by Ogletree here. Sean Porter 2nd attempt exaxt same 4.78, not good
As always your analysis gives me pause for concern and reflection whenever we do not agree. except for Ryan Swope
Not sure how he is moving in space, but if Misi went to MLB then maybe. I still would like to see Washington use that speed at DE.
Washington is certainly climbing and Moore is certainly falling. The strength and speed issues are certainly coming to light, he looked pedestrian in that 40 and had WR-like bench results- not good.
Don't know why Harbaugh is disappointed with Te'o's run.......... It's gonna push him to the bottom of the 1st round/top 2nd. lol
