This entire draft was important for Miami but above all else they had to make the right decision with that #1 overall pick and in my opinion they did. While they certainly trailed off in the later rounds and made some questionable choices the Dolphins did a terrific job early and they should wind up getting at least four long-term starters out of this class. Miami won't be competitive for at least another year or two but all journeys start with a single step and this group of rookies will help lay the foundation for their daunting rebuilding effort.
