On that list I like Jefferey and then Randle. They probably won't be in a position to get Wright or Hill.
-
I hope Randle is that in round 2. Depending on what they do for a QB.
-
QB is a more pressing need. If it's that deep at WR, there should be quality in rounds 2 and 3.

Strategically speaking, it will be interesting to see if they go with an all purpose type of Wr, one who handles returns etc, or they go with an Alshon Jeffery type of #1 Wr prospect.
With Gates on the roster, you'd have to think they go with a #1 type. -
They probably won't go WR until round 3.
QB/DE or if they bypass QB it's still DE/RT. With this deep a draft they can get quality starters in round 3. -
Philbin has said that he doesn't want a #1 WR. I don't see that as the target.

I personally like Nick Toon.

I would like to take Hilton out of FIU. I could imagine the looks on peoples faces when Hilton and Bush are on the field at the same time.

The way this draft is stacked I see us waiting to draft a WR until our 3rd round picks. It wouldn't surprise me to take two WRs back to back in the 3rd.
-
Curious IF Brian Quick is still there at 73 what we will do if we havent selected a WR yet. Many mocks have him going late 2nd (Pats)

Does Charlie Casserly even really know who Wright is?, I mean to just say that he is a slot receiver is completely inaccurate about this prospect, slot receivers usually don't double as your deep threat, nor can adjust to the deep ball better than anyone in the draft, it's what makes him a unique player, slot players are not projected to go first round..

Sanu and Wylie..Explosive complimentary versatility...
Besides being a very good receiver, Has anyone ever seen Sanu running the wildcat....beast, the man has a big perfect position specificl body, is athletic, has great hands, will go over the middle without fear of consequence, and will knock you the fu&$ over if your in his way..It's some sight watching this dude take a handoff in the wildcat, read the zone blocking, take one cut, and split that gut up the middle for 50..
Wylie is the man, no more comments from me except that I believe he is the most explosive player in the draft pound for pound.
Give me these two guys..Sanu..Hartline..Wylie..Gates..Bess..Now that's a young receiver group that can be molded into something special. -

I'm assuming he was suggesting he would rather have 3-4 guys he can goto at all times instead of a primary target. -

Thats not the impression I got from him listening to him live on the radio. He said the offense does not HAVE to have that true number one Wr then goes onto saying how having one is a luxury in any offense. Having a bonefied number one Wr does not mean he should get the ball 100 times and especially if the player is a team player. However, every offense needs a playmaker at Wr. Bess and Hartline can get 50 catches but this offense should have one Wr who is better than both of them. A high quality number two, and to this day, neither of them are close...Jcouch1021 likes this. -

I agree in principal but Revis island is a myth. He has over the top help nearly every play just like every other corner in the NFL. -
