The Colts keep inviting former Patriots wide receiver Reggie Wayne to announce their picks.

"Although we are capable of great acts of kindness, history teaches us that we sometimes need saving from ourselves – from our recklessness or our greed. God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive... I can say with certainly that this is the best draft I have seen from the Dolphins in some time. I like what we are doing to setup for next year's draft.

Miami could trade an entire regular draft of picks next year to move up for a QB. Pretty cool.

Miami is trading rounds for shells and will bombard the 2020 draft.

Man, that's tough. I dig me some Chase Winovich and would love to see him as a Dolphin.

So in essence, with the 62nd pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the #Dolphins select Josh Rosen. And now the commentators discussing what leverage did the Cardinals have? The answer is none. Ugh. Should've forced them to take less.

— Chris Wittyngham (@ChrisWittyngham) April 27, 2019

Why is this the reaction from so many?

It's a one-year tryout. If they don't like what he brings to South Florida, they cut him and draft someone next year. He costs $1.3M this year. https://t.co/5MJ9FMqP27

Rosen to Dolphins. Grier smartly does what other Dolphins GMs haven’t for 20 years - keep trying for a QB until you have one. He did his job. Time will tell if did it right
— Dave Hyde (@davehydesports) April 27, 2019

Okay so they got a 2020 5th rounder, that's a little better. Now 2020:

1st round
2nd Round
2nd Round (Saints)
3rd round
3rd Round (Comp)
4th Round
4th Round (Titans)
5th Round
5th Round (Cardinals)
5th Round (Comp)
6th Round
6th Round (Cowboys)
7th Round
7th Round (Chiefs)

You dont spend second round picks on tryouts imo. If Grier wants Tua, fucking get Tua and build the team this year, not get another teams trash. Cards had 0 leverage. None. Yet they pulled a second.
