I can't stand Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. They are such weasels with clear bias in every game they call.
I kinda love both of the teams involved in this game, but my hatred of Buck sorta balances out the lovefest. Aikman occasionally offers some decent insight, but his inability to master English makes it tough to sit through.
The Seahawks make their money taking away other people's bread and butter. All I want in this game is for no one on either side to get hurt. I think either team would make a worthy champion this season. Oops. Baldwin. You'd think Seattle would have signed a returner off the street.
Honestly, it dont matter to me who wins this game as long as Indy wins. But if I had to choose in this one, it would be GB cuz I went to school with Mike Daniels.
If they get a TD here, not going for it gave them 10 points. If they get a field goal, it only cost them a point
The way I look at it is, they get the TD, that fumble never happens. Everything gets pushed back and who knows how the kickoff turns out, but it would have been different.
That Super Bowl win over the Steelers was a cornucopia of dropped passes. Jordy must be having flashbacks. In that game, Rodgers just kept putting it in the right place and eventually people started coming down with catches.
BTW fellas, dont get caught up in the "official nfl championship games" thread... they are in there bickering about RT17 who's not even playing right now lol as much as I wish he was.
IMO, they're not playing for FG's, they're just taking the points. People are dropping passes everywhere, they've been stuffed in short yardage already, and they don't need to provide Seattle with the momentum that a 4th down stop could provide. Just take the points and hope people hold onto those passes later.
I agree, im just saying play calling has been pretty conservative on all 3 of the 3rd down situations that they scored FG's on. But I do agree that you have to take the points.
