I'm getting a bit nervous, as more and more "experts" are picking us to win the game. Sssssshhhhh ... don't jinx it, guys.
Usually pro QB's don't have 2 bad games in a row, but he is a rookie. However, I love the smash mouth running football down their throats. Man vs Man.
The thing of it is, Ronnie tends to get stronger as he has more carries, in 07 the more he had the ball in his hands the better he played. I'd love to see him flanked out at Wr with RW in the backfield.
Jericho Cotchery strained his hamstring in practice today - per WFAN radio. If he's out thats good news for us; one less good player to worry about
What are the chances that Miami starts blitzing almost every down like the Jets? Give em a taste of their own medicine!!!!!
we'll just have to go out & open a big can of AzzWup on that loud ugly bunch Let there be Blood! this is the only thing they will understand & finally shut them up. it will be a very long & humiliating night for NewYork: 24/6-Miami they wont' be as enthusiastic about second our meeting I guarantee it.
I hope. IMO, it's an absolute must. Last week we finally got a bit more aggressive and hey!.. it worked. The lack of pressure we put on the QBs in the first few games really frustrated the hell out of me. It's one of the reasons why we lost those games, imo. Last week we didn't get much more creative with schemes, packages and alignments, etc, but we did blitz more and played a lot more aggressive. I really hope that continues. Let's keep the Dirty Sanchez dirty by burying his head in the dirt.
Did anyone notice this in the article? ..."Less than five minutes later, Sanchez was stripped of the football on a sack by Will Smith in the end zone, and the ball was recovered by Remi Ayodele in the end zone for another New Orleans score."..... This is Akin's younger brother. I know Akin doesn't want to be outdone by his YOUNGER brother.
Quick, somebody send an anonymous text message to Akin, saying that his lil bro is better, and that he needs to step up and pwn Sanchez
Here is my take, for what its worth, we will beat the Jets, hands down, both games. Don't be thrown off by our first three losses because they were at the hands of 2 really good QBs and one, who IMHO, is now the very best at that position! Plus the fact that our back fourdidn't have its head together yet or its best players on the field either. That has changed. Why will we do this? 1. We can run on them, the only team that hasn't, the Texans! 2. We can stop them from running, thats our best trait plus they haven't run on any one yet! 3. I defy this rook, with only 20 games under his belt, to singlehandly beat us. He is no where near what we have already faced this year. Edwards or not! 4. We will control TOS, if NO did, surely we will also. 1. The Jets have a smart Defense, I'll give them that, thus we won't do much thru the air. All I ask of Henne is to play smart and DON"T TURN IT OVER . 2. Sanchez will turn the ball over and we have to make them pay. 3. We rattle him here and game 2 is a given! Miami 22 Jets 6 game 1 Miami 24 Jets 12 game 2 Go Orange!!
Doesn't matter when your CB are playing 10 yards off the WR like Miami does... The days of Madison/Surtain bump and run are over and it's killing us week in and week out.
Dude, you're crazy, Lil' Mel and Evil Ronnie are Ballin'...And when we do play off the man it's just to bait the QB into a pick 6 (or did'nt you see last week's game?). Todd Bowles is the man (that's our secondary coach). He made our average secondary look great by the end of the year...
