Early bye week
3/4 of december games in the cold
I'm excited though.. The season cant get here fast enough!padre31 likes this. -
Cool, we don't have a game or a bye week in week 4. Woot?
We were so bad last year the NFL forgot about us :(
Just in case anyone wonders what I'm talking about, here's a screencap of the schedule at the time of posting:

LAST two games on the road I hate that...
-
Dec. 7 at Buffalo Bills (Toronto) 4:05 p.m.# CBS
I wonder how the Bills fans like that game in Toronto -
3/4 of December games not in the cold. We get a break in that they play @ Buffalo in December but the game is being played in Toronto in a dome. Great break for the phins!!

For me, the Oct 12th game at the Texans will be our yardstick of improvement.
So last year, London, this year Toronto, the NFL is intent on exporting Dolphins football. -
I will need my winter jacket for the Jet game, the wind will be Nasty that day -
SEPT. 7 NEW YORK JETS 1:00 P.M. CBS
Well, because it's Parcells/Ireland/Sparano's first game, # 1 against the Jets is a definite W.
Sept. 14 at Arizona Cardinals 4:15 p.m. CBS
Okay, so we start out on a high, and Matt Leinart's still settling in to being an NFL QB, I say the carry-over takes us to the win.
Sept. 21 at New England Patriots 1:00 p.m. CBS
The classic we-play-hard-before-the-bye and they-take-us-lightly-anyway game. Upset city.
SEPT. 28 BYE WEEKEND
We want to play so bad, but the NFL won't let us.
OCT. 5 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 1:00 P.M. CBS
Two weeks to prepare... Tony Sparano... need I say more?
Oct. 12 at Houston Texans 1:00 p.m. CBS
By this time, Houston's going to be looking in their back pocket to see if Sage Rosenfels is still on the bench. Oops, not there. Easy Dolphins win.
OCT. 19 BALTIMORE RAVENS 1:00 P.M. CBS
We just need to keep the streak going from last year against these guys. Camarillo does it again. We win.
OCT. 26 BUFFALO BILLS 1:00 P.M. CBS
Home game. We should win this one. Bills are looking for answers everywhere and can't find them in Miami.
Nov. 2 at Denver Broncos 4:05 p.m. CBS
Toughest game of the season so far. Call it a hunch, but someone important on the Broncos team is bound to be hurt by this game leading to the Dolphins win.
NOV. 9 SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 1:00 P.M. FOX
Back-to-back toughies. But Holgren doesn't really care anymore and Hasselbeck is showing his age. Two pick sixes by our DBs pulls off the shocker.
NOV. 16 OAKLAND RAIDERS 1:00 P.M.# CBS
We're great. The Raiders stink. Just better baby.
NOV. 23 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 1:00 P.M.# CBS
Because of the Pats trying to put the undefeated scare into us last year, we tell them paybacks are hell, and beat them 49-6.
Nov. 30 at St. Louis Rams 1:00 p.m.# CBS
Next year, the Rams are drafting # 1 not number 2. Easy W.
Dec. 7 at Buffalo Bills (Toronto) 4:05 p.m.# CBS
Did this say we're playing in Toronto? Have we ever lost playing in Toronto? I think not.
DEC. 14 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 1:00 P.M.# FOX
Revenge game. For beating Marino in a Super Bowl. 38-16, Dolphins
Dec. 21 at Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 p.m.# CBS
Brodie Croyle? Brodie Croyle? BWOH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA
Dec. 28 at New York Jets
We sit all of our starters and still end up beating the Jets. We hate them.
There you have it. 16-0. Super Bowl bound. You can try to bash, but you're knocking on wood and against history as I've never been wrong picking Miami to go 16-0 before. Just try it. And in 2010, we're playing on MNF all 16 games... or SNF... or whatever the good one is supposed to be now. And versus the Pokes on Thanksgiving. And the Thursday game to start the season. Everyone will want to see us. We're... just... that... good.Last edited: Apr 15, 2008 -
Sorry guys :-) but being from Hamilton Ontario and only 30 min. from Toronto I love this game. It is not such a big deal like going to London, hell Toronto is only 75 miles from Buffalo and we dont have to freeze they will be playing in a dome so cool it on the negativity of it being in Toronto, this is a break for us.LoL:up:

by the way do you know the lottery numbers for NJ mega millions  -

Wish that Cards game was in late Nov so I could be out in Arizona both Fri and sat before the game. Looks like we'll have to fly out Saturday evening.
-
i was just starting to forget last season, thanks for reminding me  -
I think you have to be 18-0 now to be Super Bowl bound but I assume we will win those two easily :wink2:
-
Saturday, Dec. 20 Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys 8:15 p.m. NFLN is the only saturday game of the year...
-
Seriously, that is some of the funniest stuff I have ever read on a Miami message board. Great job brother. :sidelol:Finrunner likes this. -
We're playing at Houston again?
My god, I seriously need to drag my butt up there this time. -
I'll be at Invesco Field on Nov. 2nd, watching my Phins playing the Denver Donkeys. I don't think it will be that cold....probably low 50's, which is much better than when they played there last time in December.

SEPT. 28 BYE WEEKEND
We want to play so bad, but the NFL won't let us.
:sidelol::sidelol::sidelol: -
and uh... how to i get tickets?!?!?!? because its only 3.5 hours from me! id easily make a weekend out of it! -
^ To add on to the playing games out of the US comments, John Clayton of ESPN was just talking about on the Hot List about how the league plans on expanding the areas that football could be played. They are considering adding a game in Japan I believe they said.
