Most of these seem decent using either the name or the logo to get a good match but I think a few could have better fits. What would be your take?

Chiefs should either be more Native American - ones that come to mind are Forge (X-Men), Apache/Thunderbird.
Or Superman (because Kansas).
Or Red Arrow (logo).

Redskins - I suspect Hulk because of Red Hulk.... maybe. Could have gone Native American as per above, or if a villain, Red Skull...?

Spider-man needs to be in New York, so Giants (Red and Blue would fit).

Buccaneers could stick with Pirate theme and go Starjammers maybe... lesser known though. And Ghost Rider is a decent fit as an 'outlaw'.

 

And Spiderman isn't a giant, and Wolverine isn't a tiger .

It's close enough.
