This is how some are describing today after the lockout was lifted yesterday. The Wild West- there are no rules, and Chaos- no one knows what they can or cannot do.
Players will be showing up at team facilities this morning, starting at 8 AM. Owners will open the doors to let them in. However, the weight room/field will not be open for workouts, and coaches have been advised not to talk to players about contracts, etc. for now.
The owners go to Judge Nelson this morning for clarification on her ruling, and to ask her to stay her decision, pending appeal. If denied, they go to the court of appeals, asking for the same stay. If both are denied, all hell breaks loose.
Rules must be set in place, and decisions made as to how and when the NFL is open for business, and when it starts.

It's ridiculous that the league had no 'contingency plan', so to speak, for league rules if they lost in court.
There's no reason it should be as disorganized and chaotic as it is this morning. Two days before the draft.
Really hurting the teams themselves.DolfanJake, gafinfan, Zanno and 1 other person like this. -
Agree with Muck here , why didnt they have some plans in place ?
In a week where it should be all about the draft and teams hopefully getting better its now all about the lawyers which is what none of us fans want to see (IMO anyway) -
