The National Football Post breaks down five junior prospects from the 2009 class who have the talent to make that same kind of leap up draft boards in the next several weeks

CB/FS Sean Smith, Utah (6-3, 210)

NFL Player Comparison: Nnamdi Asomugha

WR Hakeem Nicks, North Carolina (6-1, 210)

NFL Player Comparison: Chad Johnson

Pretty good read, some pretty lofty comparisons for Smith and Nicks though.

Nicks compared to Chad Johnson? That's interesting. I was thinking more along the lines of Anquan Boldin.

I really like Sean Smith. He's my favorite cornerback in this draft (as well as Alphonso Smith). He's a dam good player and has all the skills. One of the few corners who I've seen play bump and run this season. I actually saw him get beat once but he had the recovery speed to get back downfield and bat the pass away.

Thats funny, I had Nicks tabbed as another Anquan as well.
Similar body type etc.

I would prefer Smith over any other CB if I had to choose. I still like Macho Harris though.

Lol, him after the catch is what does it for me. He out muscles DB's and carries them along for the ride. He's got a nose for the endzone.

I like Victor Harris as well but not as much as Alphonso Smith.

I said when he declared that Nicks would be a 1st rounder by the time draft rolled around. I also said depending on who was there i wouldnt mind if we picked him. Nicks is a beast.
