Appears that the SoFlo media types are getting the message that we the fans expect objective reporting on our Dolphins, but are sick and tired of the HIT jobs they have been printing the past few years. Omar "splains" his MO on reporting Training Camp. I can agree with this point of view and hope the remaining reporters adopt the same philosophy. http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...08/confessions-of-a-dolphins-beat-writer.html I've noticed a trend developing from most of the reporters that I read that they have heard us loud and clear. They now understand that we don't expect a "candy coated" report from them. BUT, we will call them out and cancel subscriptions to their paper and web sites for delivering HIT jobs on our beloved Dolphins . Just give us the facts as they see them. We will compare what they see with what our guys from the ThePHINS.com see and from that all will be better served.
I might be the minority here, but I dont think he is horrbile. Id take him over mando any day of the week.
I was just thinking that today. The names on our current coaching roster reads like a "spaghetti - O's" commercial or the credits from "A Fist Full Of Dollars"!
He's been my favorite South Florida journalist (doesn't mean I always agree with him) so you're not alone.
Omar can tick me off, but I like his stuff about as often as I don't. Which is a way better average than Armando.
