All the top edge defenders have been tagged. Perry is the best one left and I think he fits our system perfectly. Perry and Cam coming of the edges will be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Calais Campbell will be to expensive and can only play inside for us. Would rather use that money to sign a middle linebacker like zack brown and a run stuffer like brandon Williams.

At a certain point you just need to ignore the big money options in FA. If Perry is going to be making a ton of money let him do it elsewhere.

Albeit I haven't followed Perry much since he was drafted, but why has his production been so low sans this past year? Has he been injured? Lazy? etc etc....I remember he was a 1st round pick, but has he lived up to that billing?

I really don't think it's a good idea to spend a bunch of money on a 3-4 OLB and switch him to 4-3 DE.
Yes it could work, but it also may not work as well as you'd like, this is a thing you do with rookies or lesser known, i.e. cheap players. -
great we will never take over NE. Brady is playing 5 more years, slow growth does nothing. we'll lose those players in 4 years anyway

Miami must accelerate the process and close the gap. Drafting, I'm all for. But best believe this team will spend serious cash this offseason. They had a conservative off season last year for this reason. Get used to it -
