Then you shouldn't have claimed that "Tua was figured out"...... pretty simple...... like I told resnor, stop posting terrible takes and you won't have to defend them later. also pretty simple.

They might be the two most disingenuous posters that I have seen on any message board.

In addition, we tried to use the Bills game and pre-concussion Packers game as evidence. We were dismissed with the claim that "for some reason, the Bills chose not to follow the script"..... and in the second half, GB got the message.....

There was a guy named Fin-D that was far worse. He eventually got banned. But you should have seen how much calmer the board became once they kicked him out. His posts would almost always start with WADR (with all due respect) and then show no respect and keep acting like he said something different. What you're seeing now requires a good memory to see the contradictions. With Fin-D it was almost from post to post.

I can only speak for my posts. I don't believe I've said that he was for sure figured out. I definitely have said that I don't believe Tua can be effective (or elite) without having studs around him. I still haven't seen anything that works show me that he is effective without studs.

That isn't a knock on Tua, that's me being concerned that Miami won't keep a good team around him, because they've struggled for 25 years to assemble a decent offense.

Frankly, I'm couldn't care less what you believe to be true about posting histories. You have shown for years an inability to understand what sometime else is saying, while putting your own assumptions in on what people actually believe.

You really have a hard on for that guy. You continuously misrepresented his positions.

One game doesn't prove anything though. Let the season play out, as I said and you ignored. The Chargers have never been a good defense despite their performance against the Phins last year. The Chargers did a terrible job with what they did last year. They didn't take away the middle of the field. They didn't bump receivers at the line. They applied no pressure to Tua. We got their old DC, they have a new DC and new scheme. They made countless mistakes.

Sorry, disagree. The haters only assume the bad games will continue. I have no delusion that Tua will put up 466 yards every week. I'll also call out Tua when he has a bad game (SF last season) or the offense has a bad game (Chargers last season).

Of course you disagree. You are a troll.

I was your best friend when I was with you in the Tannehill debates.

You are everything you complain about.

Dude, a simple search shows you said that:
    https://thephins.com/threads/same-old-year-after-after-year.97926/page-3#post-3524509
And the reason you so often think I have an inability to understand what others are saying is because you can't comprehend relatively simple logical arguments.
No he misrepresented everyone else's positions. No one came close. No one.

It proves he wasn't "figured out".

Here again, you are taking credit away from Tua. He didn't play well, the charger's D screwed up.... I don't think you even understand the constant negativity of what you post.

FinD was a friend but he almost singlehandedly killed off the main boards here.

Tannehill was GOD to FinD and anyone that dared say that Tannehill wasn't good at evading pressure or had poor pocket presence was immediately shot down. FinD was singularly focused on the OL and not how Tannehill could accomplish what most elite QB's can do, which was to elevate his play despite having a middling OL.

No. It really doesn't. One game doesn't prove anything. Keep thinking it does though.

I don't disagree that he had a hard stance on Tannehill.

But we should be able to agree that other posters definitely did not try to understand his point of view and just attacked him constantly, like FinFan does to me.

    Perfect example.

You simply come in to argue against individua posters, not to contribute to the site.

    Troll.

Is there an elite QB that doesn't have at least one elite weapon?

Guess what they were talking about during KC's subpar performance Thursday? The lack of weapons.....

McDaniel made an adjustment somewhere that I didn't notice. In the first half, the Chargers were playing zone and it seemed like every pass was to a guy who was doubled (or tripled) up. I was about to post how good their secondary looked in the game thread. And then...

Our guys started finding space. Berrios got open. Then, Jordan Smythe(!) caught three balls in a row. And Alex Ingold? That zone was a thing of the past. I agree, this might have been his best game as a head coach.

Speaking of which: Am I the only one who was fully on board when we went for it on fourth down in our own territory? Last season, I stressed out every time we went for a fourth-and-short and it was usually somewhere on the other side of the field. When he left the offense on the field yesterday, I felt like we were definitely going to convert, and lo and behold...

Something I liked even more was what we did with 9 seconds left in the 1st half. It's teams like KC with Mahomes or Buffalo with Allen that try to score with just a few seconds left in the 1st half (2nd half everyone will if they need to). And they sometimes convert. That right there — trying to get a FG with 9 seconds left — is a mentality you see with the best teams, and I can't remember the last time we did that, at least not where it seemed like this should be the norm.

Narratives have a way of changing quickly, don't they? But it's an immutable truth that somebody talented has to be on the other end of those passes for any QB to succeed. Here's a hot take from before Thursday's opener that didn't age very well.

OK, this thread is now closed. I am not here in the mains often enough to know all the background behind this feud, nor do I truly care! We had a nice win yesterday with enough things needing a fix to keep a dozen message boards going for the upcoming week. We don't need name calling, baiting, or attacks on posters instead of posts. If this ongoing argument moves to another thread, vacations will be handed out.

Oh and FFiB, please switch out your avatar. Please! The Moonwalk will simply continue to cause trouble and then I WILL know who to suspend! Thank you!
