So I finally got around to watching this film and seeing what all the buzz was. I'm typically pretty skeptical when a film gets this much buzz, but I will admit right now, WOW!

Everything just works in this film and fits together nicely. The cinematography is excellent and the pacing is spot on. At first I was a little bothered by the acting of the character "Sugar", but as I learned more about his character I realized he's playing it perfect.

I've got to say this is by far my favorite Coen brothers film, even though it's not as black comedy as "Fargo" was. This movie just works for me on all levels and I enjoyed it a lot. The end of the film seems to be a bit of a downer until the message presented actually speaks to you and it all comes together at that point.

I wished Woody Harrelson and Stephen Root had bigger roles, but thats they way it is sometimes.

I highly recommend this film and will probably need to make room for it somewhere in my top 10-20 films ever.

Yeah, it was just a really great film. I bought the dvd and watched it again the other day and I just had a smile on my face because like you said everything just fit together so nicely.

I really liked the first half of it, but then it spiralled down into pointlessness for me. And I'm probably the only one who feels that way.

It is definitely in my top 10 or so. Excellent characters and a superb cast. Especially the psycho.

I enjoyed the movie until the end. When I read a review afterwards, it basically explained the whole movie and broke it down for me. I guess I'm a simpleton!

The thing I like most about the movie is that they didn't screw with the book. If you love the movie, trust me, you will also love the book. That is if you are a reader; I am.

The ending could be considered the best part because it is so unconventional.

expectations can truly make or break a movie. I really enjoyed this movie, though watching it months after its Oscar win, i wasnt left feeling "wow, that was amazing" .

IMO No Country For Old Men was good but not as good most were making it out to be. I thought There Will Be Blood was better.
