why not? i know its a disappointing season so far for miami, but there is fans of other teams blazers just had a 13 game winning streak..great season so far nate mcmillan won coach of the month, and brandon roy won western conference player of the week twice in december
No one talks about the NBA, because, quite frankly, the NBA is terrible until after the All-Star break. Portland has been a surprise, but when the big goys awake from their slumber and decide to play real basketball soon, I think Portland may show that they need another seaosn (and a certain big guy) to compete. Same goes for the Lakers (my team) Warriors, and yes, the Celtics. Once the teams start playing like it means something, then it gets interesting.
Its great to be a Celtics fan, after those terrible seasons they now have a top 5 team and are great to watch.
because the games are boring intill the last 2 minutes...........and then you realize...its boring then too. imo
I couldn't care less about the NBA. I was just never able to get into B Ball. Sean Kemp was my fav player if that means anything to you guys?
Well quite honestly I have no reason to talk about the nba as the knicks are terrible. God awful. This year I have rooted for two of my favorite teams to lose because i wanted changes..i got the change i wanted with the phins now i just need the knicks. But wait until the end of the season mr dolan so isiah has to watch this garbage team like i do.
The Celtics are the best team in the NBA and it's great to watch every single game and it's also great to watch the haters (especially the ones on this forum) choke on their own vomit.
The Three Amigos are going to flame out when the playoffs come around. This is what happens when you rely too much on three guys over 30. Sorry, I know everyone is picking them as the team, but watch what happens come playoff time....they are not getting past the Pistons. Out West everyone is talking about the Spurs once again, but my sleeper pick is the Denver Nuggets.....AI, Kleiza, K-Mart, Melo and Camby....then Nene and the rest off the bench.
the pistons still own the east. celts better get a ring in 2 yrs, or its downhill after that. the magic and dwight howard will be the beasts in 2010.
All the haters saying their bench will hurt them, they have no defense and saying the Big 3 will have to play 40 minutes a night to win. Nice to see they were wrong about all 3 and some even said they won't win 50 games.
Don't call me a bandwagon fan I have been rooting for this team throughout and like all Celtic fans I am glad they have a legit Championship contender and the best team in the East.
Boston 92, Detroit 85 Preview - Box Score - Recap By LARRY LAGE, AP Sports Writer January 5, 2008 AP - Jan 5, 10:40 pm EST More Photos AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Eastern Conference finals in June might look a lot like a matchup did in January. Glen Davis scored a career-high 20 points, giving Boston's Big Three a huge lift in a 92-85 win over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night in a marquee game that lived up to its billing. For the first time since 1981, two NBA teams entered a game on January 5 with a combined 54 wins. For the first time since 2000, two teams played with each riding at least an eight-game winning streak. Their combined winning percent of .844 was the third highest in the shot clock era. The Celtics extended their winning streak, which started after losing to Detroit at home, to nine games. Boston snapped Detroit's streak at 11 games. Boston (29-3) topped Detroit (26-8) after overcoming a 12-point deficit and foul trouble.
Great game to watch last night, Glen "Big Baby" Davis leading the team in scoring who would've thought that and they win again with Ray Allen not getting a double digit point total for the second straight game. Time for the haters to realize this team is legit.
