I am just thinking guys....Kory Sheets is out with a torn tendon. Do you think Sparano should give Carroll a shot at the returning jobs? I think he may play CB on certain packages but I think he may be able to do both. What do you think?
I think he will most certainly get a shot, as he has been getting one. The thing, how serious is Sparano about putting him back there....??
I think he will be a KR, special teams player and at most a dime back this year. Next year however I expect a huge leap as he works on improving his technique and recognition this year
He may not be that serious unless Carroll returns almost all of his returns for tds. It may be to see what else he can do other than being a DB.
Have a buddy (not a Dolphins fan) who was at TC and said Carroll looked the best out of all KR's he saw. Said he takes great angles, and we already know he has great speed. My guess is he and Cobbs are the front-runners, along with a guy like RGM.
Thats why I cant wait for preseason games...to the casual fan yeah they are meaningless yada yada....but I believe we will all start to see the "plan" so to speak start to come together, and questions that we all have wondered for 8 months start to get answered.....
Yeah, I like that there adam. For some reason I don't see Will Allen here next year, although it is still possible. He could take his spot next year and dominate.
