    Everyone seems to be posting their mocks today so I figured I'd throw mine in the mix. I'm far from an expert on the draft, just someone who loves it and reads as much as possible about it.

    1. Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia-
    This is starting to become the consensus. They entertained the idea of going with one of the offensive linemen or taking possibly the safest player in Aaron Curry, but in the end too many factors force this to be Stafford. The Lions need a young QB and if they don’t take one here, they probably won’t get one in this draft because of a lack of depth at the position. Stafford has a boat load of potential and that will be an easy sell to Lions fans who are starved for a savior. Hopefully the Lions brass will be able to keep him on the bench to learn before being thrown into the fire.

    2. St. Louis Rams: Jason Smith, OT, Baylor-
    It was no secret that the Rams were hoping to get Jake Long last year. With Orlando Pace now gone the Rams are in need of a franchise LT. Jason Smith has quite a bit of upside and great athleticism being a former TE. There are some rumblings that the Rams are considering Mark Sanchez here, but ultimately they get their guy at LT.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50AzpWY0hls"]YouTube - Jason Smith, OT, Baylor Highlights[/ame]
    3. Kansas City Chiefs: Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia-
    Yes, everyone had Aaron Curry here almost the entire offseason, but word is the Chiefs may be looking to go LT instead. The Chiefs hope they got their franchise signal caller in Matt Cassel, and now they can pair up a couple of former Cavaliers to keep him upright. Like Smith, Monroe has a high ceiling and might have a slightly higher floor.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qna40zT5FVk&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LT Eugene Monroe Highlights Virginia 2008[/ame]
    4. Seattle Seahawks: Mark Sanchez, QB, USC-
    It would be awfully tempting to take Aaron Curry here, but the Seahawks can’t pass on this passer. Sanchez is flying up draft boards and could potentially be the best QB in this draft. The knock on Sanchez is starting experience as he only had a year of it in Southern California, but going to a place like Seattle where he can sit and learn from a veteran like Matt Hasselbeck is the perfect situation for him. And with Hasselbeck getting up there in age and with his injury history the Seahawks are ready to bring in his heir apparent. Curry is obviously another option as is Michael Crabtree.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNwVfPNhYtI&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - QB Mark Sanchez ALL PASS ATTEMPTS USC vs PSU 2008 / 2009 Rose Bowl[/ame]
    5. Cleveland Browns: Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech-
    This pick is starting to look more and more like a slam dunk as the draft gets closer. The marriage of Braylon Edwards and the Browns seems to be over as they are looking to trade him. After already trading away Kellen Winslow the Browns will be in major need of a receiving threat. Why not solve that problem with adding the best WR in the draft and an elite WR prospect in any draft year? Crabtree may not have elite speed but speed is overrated. Just ask Larry Fitzgerald. He is a special WR that will make whoever is QB in Cleveland very happy.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ySmg1f8ZSM&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Michael Crabtree Highlights Texas Tech 2008 Part 1[/ame]
    6. Cincinnati Bengals: Andre Smith, OT, Alabama -
    Ideally I think the Bengals would like to see Edwards here, but I just don’t think that will happen. Another thing that keeps standing out in the back of my head is just how bad the Bengals wanted one of the top DT’s in last years class and they did coach B.J. Raji in the Senior Bowl. Ultimately though it seems like they are willing to take a chance on the hard to read Andre Smith. Smith is a player that if he can keep his head on straight will be a very good player somewhere on the line. The Bengals hope that position is LT if they’re spending a top 10 pick on him, but is he going to be too overweight? Time will tell.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md-EZ6TOWyw&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LT Andre Smith Highlights Alabama 2008[/ame]
    7. Oakland Raiders: Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forrest-
    Yes, we know Al Davis likes playmakers, and this pick could ultimately be a big time playmaker in Jeremy Maclin, but if the first 6 picks shake out like this there is no way the Raiders can pass on Curry. He is the safest and potentially the best player in this draft. He will be a force for the Oakland defense and a team leader for years to come.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEwCf7huMgs&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LB Aaron Curry Highlights Wake Forest 2008[/ame]
    8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jeremy Maclin, WR, Missouri-
    If the Seahawks don’t draft Sanchez this could definitely be a landing spot for him or force another team to move up ahead of this pick to get him. As it stands, the Jags fill their greatest need and get the playmaker at wideout that they have been seeking for quite some time. Putting Maclin on an offense with another playmaker in Jones-Drew really gives Jack Del Rio some options.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA619-10IIM&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Jeremy Maclin Highlights Missouri 2008[/ame]
    9. Green Bay Packers: Aaron B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College-
    He might not fall this far, but if he does, Raji will be a nice piece to the new 3-4 defense being installed in Green Bay. Nose Tackle is one of the hardest positions to find in the NFL and with more and more teams moving to the 3-4 it is getting even tougher. The Packers get lucky to have a player like Raji fill that need from day one.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UQ2YGE9SLM&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DT BJ Raji Highlights Boston College 2008[/ame]
    10. San Francisco 49ers: Brian Orakpo, DE/OLB, Texas-
    The Niners are looking for pass rushing and they certainly can find that in stud pass rusher Brian Orakpo. Orakpo could end up going much higher than this, but if San Fran gets a shot at him, I can’t see them passing it up. Orakpo was a monster at Texas and reminds me of DeMarcus Ware. He could team with an already talented young LB corps to be a formidable force. When it’s all said and done, I would not be at all surprised if he were the best defensive player in this draft.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZTelDHwUwY&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DE Brian Orakpo Highlights Texas 2008[/ame]
    11. Buffalo Bills: Aaron Maybin, DE/OLB, Penn St.-
    This is tough to project. Brandon Pettigrew seems like a perfect fit for the Bills and there are even rumors that they are targeting him. But in order to do so I think they’d like to move down a little bit. Since I’m not projecting any trades I’m slotting Aaron Maybin here. The Bills need pass rushing and Maybin might have more raw pass rushing skills than anyone in the draft. The key word though is raw. Maybin was a one-year wonder in college which makes him sort of a risky pick. There are also questions about whether he can hold onto the recently added weight. If he can live up to his potential though he can be a special player.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-lFOTLQg7M"]YouTube - Aaron Maybin[/ame]
    12. Denver Broncos: Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU-
    The Broncos are moving to a 3-4 and Jackson is the best pure 3-4 DE in the draft. Seems like the perfect fit to me. The Broncos were worse than awful last year on defense and adding a talent like Jackson would be a nice step in the right direction for their defense. He is a 300 pound monster that can play the run and rush the passer and provides great value at this pick.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5MeTrQ124Q&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DE Tyson Jackson Highlights LSU 2008[/ame]
    13. Washington Redskins: Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee-
    It seems like this pick is going to come down to pass rusher vs. offensive lineman. The could certainly use an offensive lineman like Michael Oher to replace either Samuels or Jansen, but I think at this spot they opt for pass rusher and go with Ayers. Ayers will give them more of what they hoped they would get from Jason Taylor last year.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAR9Qb3liRs"]YouTube - Tennessee Volunteer Robert Ayers[/ame]
    14. New Orleans Saints: Chris “Beanie” Wells, HB, Ohio St.-
    Because of their longtime need for a shutdown corner and a very good one falling to them in Malcom Jenkins, you would think it’s a match made in draft heaven. Word out of New Orleans though is they really like Beanie Wells. I agree there is a lot to like about him and he will give them the inside running they will never get from Reggie Bush. I also think he is much better than many people are giving him credit for. If he can stay healthy he can be a very good back for the Saints.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKYeleDrCaQ&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - RB Chris Beanie Wells Highlights Ohio State 2008[/ame]
    15. Houston Texans: Brian Cushing, LB, USC-
    OLB is now the #1 need with the signing of DE Antonio Smith. The Texans have DeMeco Ryans and not a whole lot else in their linebacking corps. Cushing had a little trouble staying healthy, but I think he is the best of the USC linebackers and could end up being a very good outside linebacker in the NFL. They would definitely have to think long and hard about Jenkins though if in fact he is around when they pick. Ultimately though, I think they go with Cushing.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXJt9hrRbMg&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LB Brian Cushing Highlights USC 2008[/ame]
    16. San Diego Chargers: Rey Maualuga, ILB, USC-
    The Chargers’ top need is probably a 3-4 DE, and they could take someone like a Jarron Gilbert here, but that would seem like a little bit of a reach, so instead they go for a guy with big time playmaking ability and a high upside in Maualuga. There are questions about both his game and his personality, but the Chargers hope Maualuga works out similar to previous Samoan ILB did for them.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp1dUZUMXxc&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LB Rey Maualuga Highlights USC 2008[/ame]
    17. New York Jets: Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas St.-
    This isn’t going to make 124 happy, but the fit just seems to natural to me. Freeman is often compared to Joe Flacco, and new Ravens HC Rex Ryan got a first hand look at what he can do last year in Baltimore. The Jets cannot go on with Kellen Clemmons, Brett Ratliff, and Eric Ainge as their QB’s. They need to bring in someone that can be that franchise QB and Freeman has that ability. I doubt he will have the immediate impact Flacco did, but with his size and arm he could be every bit as good when it’s all said and done. They obviously could also opt for a WR, but who will throw him the ball?
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoDjfUS7YH0&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - QB Josh Freeman Highlights KSU vs Texas Tech 2008[/ame]
    18. Denver Broncos: Everette Brown, DE/OLB Florida St.-
    The Brocos need all the help they can get on defense and with needs in their linebacking corps this could certainly be the landing spot for a falling Brown. At one time he was believed to be a top 10 pick, but questions about whether he can make the switch to OLB as well as some other players rising have pushed him down some. Brown at the very least will be a pass rushing specialist in Denver and could potentially start on the weak side.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyX5mfb-eaA&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DE Everette Brown Highlights FSU 2008[/ame]
    19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Michael Johnson, DE, Georgia Tech-
    Will the Bucs be the team that takes the chance on the ultra talented, ultra questionable Michael Johnson. Rumblings are that they could be. There is not a whole lot of speculation about his ability. A man his size should not be as athletic as Johnson is. He is a physical freak. He failed to put it all together on a consistent basis though in college. This is your prototypical boom or bust prospect and if he pans out will give the Bucs two dynamic book end DE’s that will scare the hell out of opposing QB’s.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzKWDGf5-Hc&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DE Michael Johnson Highlights Georgia Tech 2008[/ame]
    20. Detroit Lions (from DAL)- Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss-
    This would kind of be a dream scenario for the Lions getting their franchise QB at 1 and their franchise LT at 20. After strongly considering going OT with their first pick, getting a talented one like Oher at 20 would be a huge coup. Will he be here on draft day? We will have to see. Under this scenario he is.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjM8bL0X9P4&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LT Michael Oher Highlights Ole Miss 2008[/ame]
    21. Philadelphia Eagles- Knowshon Moreno, HB, Georgia.-
    Check offensive line off of their list of needs as they traded for Peters. Now they must fill holes at WR and HB. Yes they have All-Pro Michael Westbrook, but his strong suit is not running between the tackles and because of this Andy Reid rarely does so. Moreno gives them that option. No longer will the Eagles have to throw the ball 80% of the time. Moreno reminds me a lot of Cadillac Williams in that neither player are particularly big or exceptionally fast, but they are very good runners who are very “slippery” with the ball in their hands.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ue6lflyI6wk&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - RB Knowshon Moreno Highlights Georgia UGA 2008 Part 1[/ame]
    22. Minnesota Vikings: Malcom Jenkins, CB, Ohio St.-
    This has to be the furthest Jenkins fall right? The Vikings will be thinking about filling holes at both WR and RT, but they can’t pass on a talent like Jenkins. They signed Karl Paymah, but he’s not scaring anyone. Ebbon Britton would also be a great choice as the Vikings were poised to make strong plays for Jordan Gross and Vernon Carey, but didn’t get a shot at either. GM Rick Speilman also drafted Vernon Carey (actually traded up a pick to do so) to play RT at a similar spot in the draft.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiUORe2cvDM&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - CB Malcolm Jenkins Highlights Ohio State 2008[/ame]
    23. New England Patriots: Clay Matthews, LB, USC-
    Does anyone ever know what the Patriots are going to do? There are so many ways they can go here. A cornerback like Vontae Davis or Darius Butler could be an option, a pass rusher like Connor Barwin or Larry English could certainly be an option. There is even talk that they could go HB and are high on Donald Brown. Ultimately though I think they go with Matthews. He just strikes me as a Patriots-type player. He has the bloodlines, the versatility they like, and they physical ability. He can play inside or outside for them and some feel he is the best out of the USC linebackers. I don’t agree with that notion, but the Pats might.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFi0o8GCM9c"]YouTube - USC DE/LB #47 Clay Matthews Highlights 2008[/ame]
    24. Atlanta Falcons: Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma St.-
    This could be a major steal for the Falcons if they could land him here. He is a complete TE that will greatly help Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense. Don’t let his 40 time fool you, he will be a good receiver in the NFL as well as a capable blocker. He could be the next piece in a quickly ascending team in the NFC. Like I mentioned earlier, he could go much higher than this with the Bills very interested. There are also rumors the Falcons are trying to trade for Tony Gonzales. As it stands though this would be an excellent pick for them.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBWke-myLQw&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - TE Brandon Pettigrew Highlights Oklahoma State 2008[/ame]
    25. Miami Dolphins: Hakeem Nicks, WR, UNC-
    I just can’t come off this marriage. Maybe it’s because he’s my favorite player in the draft, maybe it’s because he seems like such a perfect fit for what the Dolphins need at WR. Either way I just can’t move past it. People will say Parcells doesn’t take WR’s in the first round, yet he had never taken a offensive lineman in the first until last year. Some say OLB is a bigger need, but I just don’t see the value here and think you might be reaching with a player like Barwin, English, or Sintim. Cornerback could be another option, but the Dolphins seem to have some faith in Jason Allen and I think you can get a similar talent in the second round to what you would get here. Ultimately I don’t think you can go anywhere else. It is not common to be able to get a WR with Nicks’ upside and polish at this point of the draft and I think the Dolphins jump on the chance to do so. Just watch this video!
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWakmo3_m2s&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Hakeem Nicks Highlights North Carolina 2008[/ame]
    26. Baltimore Ravens: Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Maryland-
    The Ravens do such a great job of drafting, they can be tough to peg. They very rarely make a mistake in the draft. Their two major holes seem to be at corner and wideout. They went out and made a nice signing with Dominique Foxworth so the edge on need may go to WR. That doesn’t mean they won’t take one as Davis and Butler could be hard to pass on. Ultimately I think they go WR though. I very badly want to put Kenny Britt here as he is the much safer pick and still has a great deal of upside. In fact I would almost bet on him over Heyward-Bey if you gave me $100 and told me I had to bet on one or the other. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it with the size and speed DHB brings. He has very special ability and could end up being a star at WR if he puts it together.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyjaBWuo4zA&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Darrius Heyward-Bey Highlights Maryland 2008[/ame]
    27. Indianapolis Colts: Peria Jerry, DT, Ole Miss-
    The Colts could be very tempted to take a WR like Britt or Harvin, but they have such a glaring need at DT and Jerry presents very good value and a great fit here. He is a prototypical three technique and could really give the Colts an inside push they need on defense.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQgnFw5fMaA&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - DT Peria Jerry Highlights Ole Miss 2008[/ame]
    28. Buffalo Bills: Eben Britton, OT, Arizona-
    After trading Jason Peters, the Bills now have a giant hole at tackle. Whether that is LT or RT after sliding Walker over remains to be seen, but either way Britton would be a great fit. Britton may not be around as the Vikings could very well take him at 22, but if he’s here you’d have to think he’s the pick.
    [IMG]
    29. New York Giants: Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers.-
    This pick may very well be in Arizona or Cleveland as there are rumblings that the Giants are in talks for both Boldin and Edwards. If those fall through Britt would be the ideal fit to replace Burress. It’s kind of funny actually that Britt is actually compared to Plex because of his size and speed.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a98USWn8dG0&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Kenny Britt Highlights Rutgers 2008[/ame]
    30. Tennessee Titans: Percy Harvin, WR, Florida-
    Harvin is rumored to be falling because of character issues, but I’m not sure I see him falling further than this. The Titans have been in search of a WR for quite some time and the thought of Percy Harvin and Chris Johnson on the field at the same time should give Jeff Fisher chills. That is some kind of speed and playmaking ability.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34--XTjboDI&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Percy Harvin Highlights Florida 2008[/ame]
    31. Arizona Cardinals: Donald Brown, HB, UConn-
    This could be an offensive lineman like Mack, but I think ultimately they attack their need at HB. Brown is shooting up the draft board and is rumored to be liked quite a bit by teams picking towards the end of the 1st like the Pats. If he gets here I think the Cardinals take him.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TBnZ7_60GY&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - RB Donald Brown Highlights Connecticut vs Buffalo 2008[/ame]
    32. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Mack, C, Cal-
    Being Super Bowl champs means you probably don’t have a whole heck of a lot of needs. Offensive line though, is one for the Steelers and getting a great center prospect like Mack would be an excellent pickup for the Steelers. In a division with Rogers and Ngata having a good center is almost a necessity.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8bjtM6dSC4&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - C Alex Mack Highlights California 2008[/ame]

    Dolphins Draft:

    1. Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina-
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpk6O4Wxk-Q&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - WR Hakeem Nicks North Carolina Catching Passes at Skills Competition 2009[/ame]
    2a. Clint Sintim, OLB, Virginia – Sintim provides great value here and fills a major need for the Dolphins. If Barwin is here I think he’s the slam dunk pick, and they could look at a corner if one of the Smiths, Butler, or Moore is on the board. He could potentially start on the strong side from day one and could also play inside from time to time providing a pass rush up the middle.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqqDuYX9gVM&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - LB Clint Sintim Highlights Virginia 2008[/ame]
    2b. Coye Francies, CB, San Jose St. – A fast riser that could compete for a starting job or play in the nickel or dime package. He fills the need at corner and does so with very good size and speed. He also has some return ability.
    3. Cornelius Ingram, TE, Florida – He may not be here, but if he is I think the Dolphins jump on him. He is not much of a blocker, but he could be extremely dangerous in the passing game. Another TE they could look at here is Coffman. I would have though Casey might be an option, but word is his stock is now falling a little bit and he may be more of a 4th rounder.
    4. James Davis, HB, Clemson – The Dolphins will probably look to draft a HB at some point and to me Davis fits the bill. He’s an in between the tackles runner that produced at a fairly big program in college. He will probably fall lower than he should because of a poor showing at the combine.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsCU6dDNAR0&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - RB James Davis Highlights Clemson 2008[/ame]
    5. Louis Vasquez, OG, Texas Tech - The Dolphins need depth on the line and getting a player like Vasquez here would be a nice fit.
    6. Frantz Joseph, ILB, FAU – The Dolphins have a pair of solid starters in Crowder and Ayodele, but they’d like to get a young player to groom. Joseph is a guy they’ve looked at and could have the upside they’re looking for.
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNstliEo4Hs"]YouTube - Frantz Joseph - Draft Video Profile[/ame]
    7a. Sammy Lee Hill, DT, Stillman – A late round project that could be the young NT prospect they are looking for.
    7b. Ryan Mouton, CB, Hawaii - The Dolphins struck gold with an obscure Hawaii player last year and try for it again with Mouton. This JUCO transfer played a little safety as well which could bode well for him if indeed the Dolphins are looking to move towards a quarters defense.

    That is an impressive mock draft, the time to hunt down all the youtube videos alone makes it star worthy.

    The thing about Rey M, ILB's do not tend to be high picks unless they are special players, Pat Willis was worth the #10 and EVERYONE knew he was going to be great, not so much with Rey-Rey.

    Yeah, he's hard to peg. There wasn't a natural fit with him and opinions on him seem to be incredibly widespread.

    Actually when I first was writing it up I had Beckwith going to us in the 3rd and I changed it because I wanted to try and fit a TE and HB in there and thought the value was better at those position in rounds 3 and 4 while you could still get a ILB with some upside like Joseph later.

    Lots of people have been linking the Titans to Harvin lately. I just don't get it. This is the team that draft Adam "Pacman" Jones. You would think they have learned their lesson. Everything coming out about Harvin suggests the minute he gets a paycheck he is going to be an absolute nightmare . . . just like Jones was when he rode into Nashville.

    Not to mention Tenn has needed a WR for the last 4 years. Every year mocks pick some WR out of the bunch to go to Tenn and every year they draft a different area of need. Just like always, they will draft elsewhere. Defensive line IMO.

    I love Hakeem Nicks!!! :tt1::tt1::tt1::tt1::tt1::tt1::tt1: Dude catches EVERYTHING! He's got moves, can get deep, goes over the middle, gets the tough YAC. Did I happen to mention he catches everything?

    I say 3-5 years from now we all look back and say Hakeem Nicks was the best WR to come out of this class. Even better than Crabtree and Maclin. You heard it here first.

    I just hope we're sayin' it because he and Henne are lightin' it up year after year! :up:

    Go get him Bill!

    Or maybe after the criticisms and the slide from top 20 to bottom of the round, he might clean up his act a little bit. We don't know just how bad of a character risk he is. If it's beyond repair, then yes I agree with you, if the Titans feel they can influence him to change, then they're getting an elite playmaker very late in the draft.

    Man, I would love that draft. I love Nicks, Sintim, Ingram, and Davis. Don't know much about the kid from SJ State. I think Davis will be a good pro, he just never had an offensive line in his four years at Clemson. And he still put up tremendous numbers.
