Its ok DJ. We know you hang on to their every word. Thanks for the vid. If he is the best man going into the season, why not? The whole notion about killing a QB's confidence is kind of overblown imo. If you have a mentally strong kid that can handle the pressure, losing, and making mistakes, why not if he is the best QB you have? I think we have that in Tannehill.
BTW, I'm not a fan of Tannehill always saying 75% the same, 85% same terminology, etc. in his interviews. If i were Dolphins PR guy, I would tell him to mention nothing about similarities and be vague. Not sure if it is that big of a deal, but I'd rather other teams not know what 75% of our offense looks like.
That's pretty funny. In the weeks leading up to the draft, all 3 of those guys said Tannehill needed to sit at least a year. I wonder what changed?
They feel that he needs to play now in order to "justify" being picked in the top 10. As if it would be completely different if we picked him 3 picks later at 11 instead of 8.
It doesn't matter. Just because the terminology is the same, doesn't mean the calls are. It's the same thing when guys in the NFL switch teams. If it were really that big of an advantage, teams like the Pats and Colts would've had a tough time because they ran the same offense for years.
They said about the same on Sirius Radio today. Tanny WILL BE the stater in week one, according to them.
