or you could continue to pay Carson Palmer more money... a guy whose career is on the decline and only has a year or two left in the league vs a guy whose career is ascending, turning the corner and has plenty of years left. Not that you are going to make a trade this year though.
Our own Boomer drafted Bradford in the first round of a franchise 22 round draft. Just sayin' ladies. http://www.thephins.com/forums/show...-Help-Needed&p=2001330&viewfull=1#post2001330
Actually, none have? I guess it's not too surprising considering our best player's either a relatively unknown LT or a not really pass rushing DE. But no, just the pattern and such.
Although as to the QB comparison, it's worth noting that in a one year league, if the salaries were equal, Palmer would hands down have more value. His numbers across the board are better and Bradford's largely been not very good when healthy, just last year almost getting to average. Boomer's draft holds little value for our league because it's based on setting up a franchise long term. Bradford may have been a 1st there, but in a QB happy era, he was still only the 17th QB taken there. I'd still take Bradford over this draft's QBs, but he's nowhere near a star ascending player turning the corner and exhibiting greatness, he's just trying to get to average.
