Dude, we need a guy with experience and that knows what he is doing in the secondary. I think he will be at least somewhat affordable. A big yes to Pac-Man.

 

Would prefer to address CB and G via the free agent market than the draft. We need a proven commodity at those spots right now, not rookies. He got a little hot in the Pitt game, but was far from the only person to do so. Other than that, however, he was a solid contributor. Build a dominating DL group and have solid secondary with rangy LBs. That seems to be a recipe for a lot of teams that are getting to the conference championships and SBs lately. Denver, Carolina, Arizona, Seattle even New England to a degree rely on the DL to pressure, set rangy LBs that can stuff the run and also cover effectively.

Yep. I would hope having the opportunity to play with family would be a calming factor for him.

C'mon now be honest, when was the last time you heard anything about Adam Jones getting wild and crazy?? It's been many many years. People grow up. Pacman is deceased. Adam Jones remains one of the top CB's in the league.

One costly penalty last year and even that one was,IMO, justified. Joey Porter was way,way out of line.

Olivier Vernon committed more stupid penalties last year than Adam Jones did.

 

Yeah... Leopards change their spots all the time. Or Bengals maybe. Maybe Burfect will do something smart this year too.
