If you are the GM of the football team in charge of making personnel decisions and the owner goes to California to meet with a coach, you can't exactly tell him to piss off. I'm for nobility and respect, but in reality it was Ireland's job to go to California with the owner. If the owner wants Ireland to go to California....he better find some sunglasses and make it happen.

Wonder how long Peterson has told Ross to let this all blow over and then axe em all. All of this just reaks of damage control and a reasonable buyout to Sparano still doesn't have me convinced that this is just a show until the house is cleaned out for Cowher. If there is a ton of negativity from the public after Sparano's presser today I think it could be a real possibility.
