well hockey fans, the start of the regular season is rapidly approaching and I figured it was time to start the thread where we can all discuss the exciting 2008-2009 campaign. (no Devils or Rangers fans please ). My Philadelphia Flyers were very close last year to reaching the Stanley Cup, until we ran into the Penguins. That being said, I fully expect the Flyers to win the cup this year! it's gonna be a fun season...let's get it started! EDIT: I guess I should have checked to see if an 08-09 NHL thread had already been started, LOL....my bad mods, please merge!
