But isn't that pretty much the definition of "reached"? The player isn't worthy of his draft position and should have been drafted later. :confused2:

The Bears were going to take the Raiders second round pick, 2 picks later. But the Raiders got him. I laughed at AL...after looking the kid up...Al is laughing at me.

It is just too hard to guess what teams know about what players. If the Raiders pick does not work out...big deal it's the raiders. But if he does, he might be the fastest FS in the NFL, not to mention he hits like a LB on steroids. This kid slams you to the ground from a full speed hit.

Who's to say that our "reaches" will not play like Langford did last season.

I know we are used to fools running our drafts. But now we have football minds running it and it made a HUGE IMPACT last season. Let's see how these guys do in training camp & preseason, before we cast the first stone.

and we wouldve been ok had we passed on white if someone else got him. just saying, IMO we shouldve a OLB in rounds 1-4 but I guess the Trio doesnt think any of them in this class was worthy.

Ive liked every pick we've made so far with the exception of the Hartline and Nalbone picks. While i think the both of them could be decent players i just feel like we had other needs to address at those points in the draft. We'll see though.

To tell you the truth, many of these kids I see get interviewed are horrible at interviewing skills. Whether that has to do with lack of intelligence or simply inability to articulate well in an interview is debatable.

Hopefully he's a special teams demon. Our return coverage was horrible but did get better through the season.

I think the first 7 rounds went well for the Dolphins:yes:. Lot of size, speed & promise coming our way this season. The FrontOffice addressed our most pressing needs.
Let's see what they dredge up in the afterbirth of this year's draft. Parcells always finds a gem hidden amongst the undrafted.

Look for the return of Jason Taylor.

To the video: i hope the guy at the end realizes illinois is in the BIG 10 and not the pac 10 lol

To JD Folsom comment: Yeah thats what im hoping for because i certaintly dont think those stats are good enough to actually play on defense in the nfl. I mean im going to be a senior in high school next year and im 6'2" 225 and i play DE/LB. I've recieved interest from only D3 schools and those stats from Folsom at Weber State even give even me hope of playing in the NFL:tongue2:

hmm..if we decide not to use or draft pick say in rnd three then it is my understanding we can step up and pick anytime after that rnd correct? would be funny if we stepped up in front of the first overall in next yrs. draft saying we haven't picked our player yet and wish to exercise that option.

there is A LOT of UDFAs i would love to bring in. Starting with Ellerbe the ILB from UGA

    Ellerbe
    Frantz Jospeh
    Darry Beckwith

all ILBs i hope we bring in one of them. if not all of them, **** it.

I guess I was a little unclear, I shouldn't have said reach. What I mean is that people shouldn't say that we could have had him later, which many a posts have.

I like the Chris Clemons pick. Hes a faster, coverage safety which is a must need for us given that Gbril Wilson and Yeremiah Bell are better around the line of scrimmage. This guy should complement our other DB's nicely.

we worked out Joseph and had some pretty good interest in him, so i would imagine that we will try pretty hard for him as an UDFA.

    lot's of players for UDFA:

McDuffie (S), Garcia, Allen (Gs), Sutton (RB), Beckwith, Joseph, Williams (ILBs), Watlers (OLB) to name a few that we had interest in ... we can make up some ground on some of these - especially Garcia, Beckwith or Joseph ...
