My favorite part of his media roundtable was this:
I can't look away from this car crash. It's comical at this point.
Think about this: we've been putting up with Jeffrey Loria almost as long as we've been putting up with Tom Brady.
Marlins Threaten to Sue Longtime Season-Ticket Holders Who Complained About View-Obscuring Sign:
**** like this is why I refused to send then an application while looking for jobs.

This franchise is becoming very difficult to root for.
I don't agree with the people who are bashing the Marlins on this.
This is a fan that is trying to get out of a contract that he signed.
And making the Marlins look bad while doing it.
Why would the Marlins put up a sign that obstructs the view in the first place? They specifically designed the ballpark to have an excellent view no matter where you were sitting.
The Marlins are making themselves look bad. The usual tactic of digging in their heels and saying "We're doing X regardless of what you think" is backfiring here. Regardless of whether or not the two ticket holders are correct, the usual move here is to avoid a problem and just give them what they want—the customer is always right.
It's not really obstructed. It's like 5 inches of padding.
I am all for trashing the Marlins organization but this is silly.
They've offered to move there seats.
You're suggesting the Marlins do what?
I'm suggesting the Marlins have already lost this battle and there is no good ending for them here. What they do now is irrelevant to the outcome.
So time machine. You would have done what?
Required season ticket holders to physically sit in their requested seats prior to signing the contract. If they didn't sign up by opening day 2012, put their tickets on hold and sell individual game tickets for their seats until they performed the sit down.
Ah, I see you haven't read the article.
I don't think you see what I did there.
Guess not. Care to elaborate?
I'm saying the Marlins did what I would have done, but because they're in a no win situation, it doesn't matter. None of it matters. Welcome to PR.
Oh yeah, agreed.
When I asked what you would have done, you should have said "Not trade Jose Reyes & Co."
I would not have let this ownership buy the team. Beat that!
