Get ready for Tannehill boys....
Here is to hoping Philbin and Sherman turn him into Aaron Rodgers and not Rob Johnson.SICK, HULKFish and Ohio Fanatic like this. -
All you need to know... 15 of 23 quarterbacks taken in the first round the last 8 years are STARTERS in the NFL. 7 of 83 taken in rounds 2 thru 7 last 8 years are starters. percentage wise, 65% compared to 8%. Do it Ireland!!!

Happy First Round of the Draft Day everyone. The oasis of football of the desert of the off-season has finally come. Today something will happen and we will have real stuff to debate for months.

I'm so oddly excited for the draft this year. Usually got at least a little jazzed, but never quite like this haha.
Hopefully this is the start of something special...Ducken likes this. -
So excited! And as others have stated, hopefully today is the day our fortunes turn around.
Let's do it! -

My advice...start drinking heavily..Paul 13 and siciliansith like this. -
I'm still optimistic for my dream scenario:
-We pass on Tannehill at 8,
-trade down to 14-15 spot as Philly and Dallas fight for Barron.
-Tannehill drops all the way to 14-15 .
-We all celebrate.
-Media calls Ireland a genius
-CLB cracks a smile and enjoys themselves for once -

The browns offense had the worst receiving group in the league last year, Greg little was their best player and he was a rookie, a rookie that few of us liked very much, but, he needs help big time..Colt needs help..It's a tough call, I don't know how they really feel about Colt, but Iam hopin they want to give him a fair chance to be successful and surround him with talent..
What Iam getting at is this, if the browns do select Richardson at 4, I think that's a pretty good tell that they might not go with a 29 year old up tempo style gunslinger with their 2nd first, If your going T rich at 4, then thats your style of play, Weeden would be a waste of talent there.Jcouch1021 likes this. -

Well, after vacillating for last 2-3 months, I've decided...I want us to draft Luke Kuechly. Not the QB that many want us to draft, but a guy that can be the QB of our defense for the next decade. Whether it's at #8, or ideally after trading back a few spots. Make it happen Irish!

It's all about character assassination at this point..
Hate those mother fu&$ers.. -
I mean why would you select this spread older gunslingin QB when you just invested the fourth pick in the draft on a workhorse running back?...I think it gives us some solid intel on the whole first round, I mean the browns are to me the only legitimate chance of taking Weeden before we could in the 2nd, if they go TRich with the 4 th, it tells me I don't have to jump in front of them that early..
