They should just call the series and give it to boston. Save people from watching another rangers game. ThaT is the worst hockey by any team in any series so far. I thought minnesota was boring but the rangers take the cake

Now DEMS ma boys! Total domination. Second time they chased Anderson from the pipes in 4 games. Hopefully they wrap this up Friday at the new Igloo.

Senators are done. Penguins vs Bruins should be interesting but penguins look like they will represent the East

I hope we get at least one gm 7 overtime in the playoffs before they're done. There is nothing better in all of sports

If Quick keeps turning it on for the playoffs like he has the last two seasons...they are going to name awards after him.

Not to look ahead but I was really hoping L.A. Would play Chicago in the WCF. It is looking more and more like Detroit which is annoying since they seem to find ways to win against L.A. Oh well. Gotta finish off the Sharks first.

Kings played their best game of the playoffs last night. It will be interesting to see if they come out with the same intensity in San Jose or "rest" and save it for game 7. Getting Matt Greene back is huge. If it goes 7, that might be your OT game there... which I know my heart wouldn't be able to take.

Boston is the one team I think can beat Pitt. They are a good defensive team. I am rooting for Kings or Bruins. Kings/Bruins Stanley cup would be awesome to watch

Any team can beat any team, but I don't think the Bruins have the firepower to keep up with the Pens.

Boston is the only Eastern team I worry about as a Kings fan. They have the big bodies to counter L.A.'s forechecking. Plus, Jagr is a Kings killer. Fortunately, I think the Penguins will take them out and Pittsburg is an easier matchup for the Kings. Pitt would have home ice though and DO have a ton of weapons.

I would love to see that offensive machine against Quick in his current mode. Plus, having Super Mario and The Great One on opposing sides in the Finals would be a terrific marketing campaign for NBC. Not to mention L.A.'s head coach's nephew playing for The Penguins.

One maybe both of these game 7's will go into OT, have a feeling. Hope it's not the Kings game. LA has owned the 3rd period in this series. Going to be a war in both of these games.

I tell ya...watching this game with the mother of my kid who is a RABID Shaks fan was effing nerve racking. I ended up taking two shots of whiskey for the first time in MONTHS. ****, I love hockey.

I guess I am rooting for a Detroit for the home ice...but if Chicago wins, then the last four Stanley Cup winners will be in their respective conference finals, and that is pretty cool.

Justin Williams is a Game 7 beast. In four career game 7s, he has five goals and four assists. That is pretty incredible.

Even though the game didn't go into OT, it felt like an overtime game from the start. First goal was going to decide it, as it had the first six of the series. Williams, what can you say? I'm glad he decided to show up this series at the most crucial time. 24 goals scored in the series by both teams combined. 14 by LA, 10 by SJ. Home ice is huge this year for every playoff team. Chicago will probably win tomorrow and the Kings are going to have to steal one on the road. I'm more scored of Detroit from a sheer matchup standpoint than the Bhawks. They have better goal tending, better puck possession. Hope we can get Stollie back for some face off wins. He's supposedly skating but has not been cleared for contact yet.

    woof... that was nerve racking...

Omg. The go ahead goal with 1:30 remaining is disallowed by a scrum started by a red wing. Chicago got robbed.

Puck dosnt lie, good comeback by Chicago down 3-1. They were the better team. Red wings got hot at the right time but could not get the last win

Second time in NHL history that it ever happened that way. Dont ask me when the first time was cause I dont know, I just remember reading on facebook earlier on my timeline.

On a different note theres a juicy nugget on Bob McKenzie's Twitter page...basically dont be surprised if the Islanders try and get Roberto Luongo back. Luongo you may remember was dealt in the deal that netted the Islanders Rick Dipietro and Mark Parrish. With Nabokov as a FA and Tim Thomas' contract not being tolled (whose rights the Isles acquired back in Feb) they may not want to meet that asking price considering the age of those players.

Told ya they were going to *****slap Pitt.

Watch Boston is going to pound Pitt like last night. I am going to punch something.

Pagan would better do some little ritual invoking some sort of bad luck on Rask bro.

*****slap? Did you even watch the game? That was no *****slap. The only *****slapping was the one Malkin laid on Bergeron. :p

    Yea...they "pounded" the Pens. :glare:

Dude, again did you watch the game? They beat Rask three times and hit the post. Boston's first goal was a lucky bounce off Martin's leg. I'm not making excuses, but you're talking as if the series is over after one game that was alot closer than the score.

I heard the same bull**** when they played the Islanders. You know how that one turned out. This series is far from over.

Kinda agree with pagan here. That was a fifty fifty game IMO and what decided it was the bounces. The penguins clanged the post three or four times. I lIke the penguins to bounce back tonight but I do feel this is a toss up series where anyone can win. I lean towards boston though. I think their defense is better and willdecide it in the end

Actually I thought the penguins got suckered into playing Boston's style of play instead of their own.

Think about Pagan, the pens are not a forecheck/hitting team, the Bruins are, yet the pens out hit the B's and lost.

Actually Padre, they have been this year. They've been way more physical and their forecheck has been excellent this year. I've watched almost every game and that's how they've been generating scoring chances.

And the Pens aint' the Rangers, who score even less than Beavis & Butthead. Your point?

I will. Pens in six. I stand by that.

Their defense is excellent, but they gave the Pens a TON of scoring chances. Rask either made the save or the post did. Four times to be exact. That's not going to keep happening. The Bruins defense is playing well, but I'll take Malkin, Iginla, Crosby, Neal, Dupuis and Kunitz over two rookie defensemen any day of the week.

They haven't played in 8 days. Could be their timing was off. We'll see tonight. The goals will come. You don't average 4 goals a game by chance.

To be fair the islanders were a much harder matchup for you then Ottawa. Boston is going to give pitt fits because they attack and play a puck possession game and they have a good goalie...not a 1 year fluke like ottawa. I dont know who wins but imo its a 6 or 7 game series either way. I hope chicago wins this thing at this point :)
