Today at 1 PM Eastern time on CBS your Miami Dolphins look to defend their playoff hopes against the Baltimore Ravens at Sunlife Stadium.
Offensively the key to the game will be whether or not we can exploit the absence of Haloti Ngata in the middle of their defensive line. Lamar Miller will most likely need to have a solid day to give us a chance. If the run game gets going their secondary is so bad it will allow us to exploit their weakness on the back end in the passing game.
Defensively we simply need to find a way to limit Forsett while not allowing the deep pass by Flacco. Sounds easier than it probably is.
All I know is today we win.

THE SERIES
SERIES RECORD: Baltimore leads 6-5 (including playoffs)
AT MIAMI: Teams tied 4-4
AT BALTIMORE: Ravens lead 2-1
LAST MEETING: 2013 at Miami; Ravens 26, Dolphins 23
HISTORY LESSON: The last time Baltimore came to South Florida for a December game was in 2007 and it resulted in a memorable victory for the Dolphins. Greg Camarillo went 64 yards for a touchdown in overtime after catching a pass from Cleo Lemon to give Miami a 22-16 victory. Lemon ended up with 315 passing yards that day, the most ever by a Dolphins quarterback against the Ravens.
SERIES TREND: Unfortunately, the 2007 game is the last time the Dolphins have beaten Baltimore. The Ravens have won the last four meetings, including a 27-9 victory in the 2008 playoffs. The game last year at Sun Life Stadium was the first decided by less than 14 points since that 2007 game.
SCOUTING REPORT
RAVENS’ RECORD: 7-5
LAST GAME: Lost vs. San Diego, 34-33
OVERVIEW: Two years removed from a Super Bowl title, the Ravens are trying to return to the playoffs despite having had to replace many pieces on their championship defense because of age, injuries and now the four-game suspension imposed on five-time Pro Bowl selection Haloti Ngata. On the other side, the Ravens have regained some balance thanks to the emergence of free agent acquisition Justin Forsett to revive the running game. Even in the passing game, Baltimore now has someone to take some pressure off wide receiver Torrey Smith, veteran Steve Smith Sr., who has experienced a rebirth after a sub-par season with Carolina in 2013. Baltimore finds itself among the six-pack of AFC teams with a 7-5 record but must find a way to bounce back after squandering a late lead to lose at home against San Diego last weekend.

@jeffzrebiecsun: Torrey Smith looks very stiff and limp is noticeable. Now standing off to the side while teammates run routes.

Our run D has faced a lot of fire. But Forsett is banged up and you can assume our front line will have a chip. They are going to attack our ridiculously weak CB position, opposite of Grimey of course.
