Jake Long is probably the best LT in the league. I wouldn't expect any of them to beat Long at this point. If you think Pace is soft, then you do not watch any of the Jets game. Even the Tuna wanted Pace. Please, get your facts STRAIGHT! I'm a man, I'm 40.

Pace is soft because he doesnt want to be a leader, He joined the Jets because in NY he wanted to "just be one of the guys". Parcells wanted him to be a leader.

Plus he's overpayed and he's a subpar OLB, and thats with the roids.

Bills ILB Paul Posluszny (knee) is expected to start Sunday in Week 4 against the Jets after missing the last two games.
Posluszny will be a great play against a Jets team that is sure to pound the ball early and often. The Bills' run defense gets a nice upgrade, but his presence alone won't be enough to change your opinion on opposing running backs.

That will help the Bills "D" as Andra Davis and Akin Ayodele/Reggie Torbor are not scaring anyone at ILB.

I do think Arthur Moats is an upgrade over Aaron Maybin at OLB.

ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that Jets LB Calvin Pace (foot) did not travel with the team to Buffalo, and has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Bills.
Jason Taylor, normally a passing down specialist at this stage of his career, has done an admirable job filling as a full-time ROLB, and shouldn't be a major downgrade against the Bills.

They feel Taylor is a fine replacement, if it were me I'd run Spiller to his side behind the FB.

Hmm, FWIW the interior of the Bills Oline is their strength.

If I were Gailey, I'd run the secondary off with go routes and run toss sweeps to the wide side of the field with Spiller and make the Jets D prove their athleticism on the edge.

Not really. Misleading statistic. Yardage allowed is meaningless, because the rare big play will make yardage look better/worse than it actually was on a per-play basis. Yardage also skews defensive ratings because if a defense is average in one phase of the game and really bad in the other phase, opposing teams will attack the latter, causing the former to appear better than it really is. This is why, say, Oakland can be rated second against the pass, giving up only 127.7 yards per game so far this year, but they still make opposing QBs look better than Kurt Warner’s career 93.7 QBR.

The Jets are good against the pass. But we’re just as good.

The weather at Ralph Wilson Stadium prior to Sunday's Jets-Bills game includes rain and 15PM winds.
We don't worry about wind until it gets into the 20MPH range, and per Weather.com that won't happen today in Buffalo. Mark Sanchez and Ryan Fitzpatrick, however, have some of the weaker arms in the league. If you needed a tiebreaker on whether to play Braylon Edwards, Lee Evans, or Jerricho Cotchery, here it is. The Jets are probably going to run all day anyway.

Without Stroud and Davis, the Bills run defense is an even more attractive matchup for Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson this week

Rotoworld at times has some of the worst analysis of information that I've read on the 'Net, if the Run D was crappy with those two in the game, why is it impossible to think replacing them would improve the run defense?

Jets declared CB Darrelle Revis, OLB Calvin Pace, QB Kellen Clemens, WR Patrick Turner, TE Jeff Cumberland, OT Wayne Hunter, DL Marcus Dixon, and LB Jamaal Westerman inactive at Buffalo in Week 4.
With Revis out, Lee Evans is an interesting WR3 this week against Drew Coleman and Antonio Cromartie. Jets rookie Joe McKnight is active as the third running back for the first time this season.

I hope they do try to cover Evans with those two..:D

Westerman is also a good special teams player.

i think they're saying its a better matchup for Greene and LT, as in you should start those two. they should have worded it better

Dreary day in buffalo, neither team is playing very well right now.
