I don't like bringing in Pat for 1 play at a time. Give him 4-5 plays straight or don't bring him in at all IMO. Posted via Mobile Device
Pennington passed up two longer throws just now for the dumpoffs. Haynos was open deep on second down. Camarillo (or Hartline) between the zone on third down.
Pennington missed two open players on 2nd and 3rd down. He missed an open Joey Haynos on 2nd down and an open Camarillo on 3rd down. He's getting a little skittish in the pocket and he's not keeping his eyes downfield.
They shouldn't even bring White in period. The offense was churning away and then all the momentum taken out. It's a waste of downs. If he doesn't come in and make a big play for a TD late in the game - that will be an absolute waste. There's no purpose for it. At this point, he's not good enough to come in for 4-5 plays. That destroyed the momentum of the drive and gave the Colts great FG position.
I agree with you brother. I didn't grade - not that it matters anyways - Vontae Davis as highly as some others may have. Too many mental lapses and disappearing. Sean Smith was my number one cornerback and I thought we should have taken him twenty-fifth. You should have seen me on draft day, lol. I was going crazy.
Great job there by the D on 3rd down getting some pressure, Smith with nice coverage. Kid's great. Gotta love what the future has in store
