Getting 3 or not...that is just an unbelievably bad play call IMO. Yes, that play has been working well, but we've consistently hit on 3rd and 5-7 all night long and on this drive. Awful.

To be fair to the OC, I don't think the dive was the called play. I think Pennington audibled into it when he recognized the Colts going into a jailbreak blitz.
See, what we were supposed to do was look to throw the ball to Ginn. He has been on fire, and was stepping up. His confidence is on an all time high. Feed him the ball.

If that 3rd down play call isn't questioned after the game by the media - they aren't doing their job. That was absurd. Manning could use up 3:50 and score a TD on us. We need a turnover desperately.
D better step up here. Offense has made this an "easy" game for them. Now go out there and earn them paychecks.
The thing I hate about the dive on third and six is that it set up a 46 yard field goal from the dirt. Yes, we made it but what did that call accomplish short of avoiding a turnover?
Can't help it man. I have seen this crap happen too long, and after a while you just grow accustomed to it.
I think we should pull a Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding on him. That would be wrong, but this has the makings of VT-Nebraska all over it.
