another Jets scenario... lol... if they beat Miami, the Raiders win vs the Chargers, the Bengals lose vs the Ravens, and the Chiefs win at Denver... they are in.. they have two chances...

Matt Moore is a steaming pile of garbage.
    Mike Nolan is overrated.

The upside is, this speaks of a talented team that does not have experience enough to win close games

This was our 5th loss by 3 pts or less.

Why? Making the AFC Championship game twice and missing the playoffs by one game once is pretty good for his first 3 seasons.

Same Franchise that ran Michaels out of town though Mr C, no one is king of cutting off their nose to spite their face as the NYJ.

If rex misses playoffs this season and next that is. His mouth and schtick is a little old by now.

He has beaten winning teams , the point is that if MM is the answer as some pronounce then shouldn't he win one game where he was the difference? and where it was against a winning team. I would think so , but if he doesn't then making it known isn't a negative it just is reality.

Yes Chad Henne beat winning teams all the time. He's a regular giant killer. What difference did he ever make in a game outside of a couple of career highlights in 2009? What would you say Chad Henne has done more often? Beat good teams or lost to crappy ones?

The reply was to a comment that while MM has not beaten winning teams Henne has , yet MM is the answer for some. That his wins this year were against poor teams and that the team played better somehow was not relevant . I am not saying Henne is the answer , I fully support addressing the QB position correctly once and for all , if posters think MM is significantly better than Henne , than I expect MM to win at least one game where he was the reason and one game against a quality opponent.

Not sure if the yets qualify , so we may never know at least not this season , because he hasn't done either of those 2 things and again I don't think it is too much to expect if he is as good as he has been proclaimed. Fair is fair , or it ... should ... be imo.

They win the AFCW with a win next week.

Moore has thrown some amazing balls. The difference between the first and second halves today was the protection he got and the coverage by the pats' secondary. Fasano, one of his favorite targets, wasn't available. The defense crapped out on the second half and he got less opportunities. This was a loss by the whole team. At the end of the day, though, Moore is a very good backup. He won't put the team on his shoulders and win games for us.

Pads we won a lot of close games in 2008... why?

IMHO, I believe you win close games because of your defense, and ours have been playing good this year... but that has been against mediocre teams...

Against good O teams (IMHO), you depend on your Offense to score lots of points because you know its going to be a break out some how in the 3rd-4th quarters...

Today 24 points was not enough to win, but it was good enough to make it close... anyways...

Scoring 24 points would just about beat any team other than Pats, GB, Houston (maybe not with injuries), and NO...

We have a good D, they played great and it got tired as well as they did not do a good job of adjusting late 3rd and 4th quarters... maybe coaching has to do with it...

I like the look of the O but we must remind ourselfs that we played the 31-32 ranked D in the NFL... and we have seen how our O looks when playing against better Defense...

When you are up 17-0 going towards the half you attack and put the foot on the gas.
I hate to dispute with some heavyweights on this board but DJ and Padre were wrong.
Push the football and score more points when you are rolling against the Pats.

I'm over it but on 3rd and 5 why the hell are you playing Zone D. It was silly.
We caved in that football game.
