    2-0 in the preseason, so what you sayin'?

    I am hip deep in stuff for college so posted this early and tbh, there just are not that many stories of substance about the team right now, just puff pieces and dire predictions.

    Marino has liked every Qb since Fiedler, but did kind of cut Henne a bit late last yr, so what difference does it make? Vontae speaking up, breaking the "Dolphins Snuffaluffagus" barrier is great, Kevin Burnett did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, but they rarely sustain it.

    That "one voice" policy stuff needs to be reapproached.

    I vote to start a new thread...

    steps:

    1) title the new thread using "2nd Official" or "OTHER OFFICIAL" - that will confuse the buggers.
    2) let some newbies post in that with off OP topics
    3) I will then lead the outrage to MERGE into this thread and ping every MOD to do it quickly
    4) Everyone leaves happy

    its preseason, this thread is fine as is...dont lose any sleep over it....run with it....folks will only care once the game starts no issues really.

    Dolphins first team still has something to show. Even the Bungles first team looked good against the Panthers. Looking good against a team that was 10-6 in a tough division would be nice.

    I love this game as a barometer because the Bucs might be forced to drop a respect card tonight. After reading first hand how badly they were embarrassed, they should be primed for at least regular season intensity. I say bring it on and see where we stand. Man, if the phins dominate again, it should prove to be a very fun season.

    That is disappointing. He is a major piece in roster decisions at FB and TE.

    You're setting yourself up for disappointment IMO. I'll be ecstatic if we show better than we did last week. This Bucs team is gonna be pissed off...

    I know it's only preseason, but the circumstances of tonights game will tell us a lot about our football team this year. There is an expectation that TB will come out on fire, if they do, how will the Dolphins react to "just" a preseason game?

    Eh, had been a non factor tbh, the guy whose name I'm hearing mentioned who has been under the radar is fmr CFLer Restelli, he is pushing Ty Culver for the backup SS job from out of nowhere.

    I always thought it had to do with his lifetsyle in retirement, fish, sun tan, chillax 24/7.

    FWIW he used to be my #2 Dolphins Coach until Sparano.

    I always liked him, but I got a new appreciation for him when he went on Survivor. At his age, that impressed me. I also think he gets a bad rap for his time here.

    Disagree, that is on Wayne H and Wanny himself, Wayne H for abdicating responsibility as an Owner, and Wanny for being Wanny.

    HC/GM just does not work, too much to do for proper decisions to be made on both levels, Wayne H should have known that, ditto Wanny.

    Dolfans tend to forget how screwed Shula left the franchise in when he was forced out, we were in Cap Purgatory for 2 yrs after he left.

    Love the Don, that is the truth of the matter, JJ landed in Miami and had to do what he had to do.

    One gripe on JJ would be some of his picks, especially not drafting a qb.
