No, because Henne can guide us further than Pennington and go through his lumps now while learning to be a better NFL quarterback.

I'm not as confident in Pennington as the rest of the fans.

Well he's healthy now. So throw him in there and then do what you have to do if he gets hurt again. They are making a conscious decision to bench him now and it is costing us games.

I can agree with that. I do think henne has shown improvement though, he feels oh so close to making that leap.

Ugh. The Jets might win that game yet. Stafford is a great kid but is unfortunately made of glass.

Chad Henne is the dolphins version of Kellen Clemons.

There is no simpler way to put it.

It could have been placed better, but it wasn't forced. A slight more outside and it's not picked, a step back to the ball by Bess and it's not picked either.

And you think that why? Because he has a strong arm to throw to all of our downfield threats.....

we only have four losses, I hate our record but there is a lot of football to be played and our schedule only gets easier.

just thought I'd try and put it in a different light since all thats on here anymore is DOOM & GLOOM

I was hoping that too. After watching today I'm not so convinced. He has plenty of receiving talent. He should be better IMO. Look at Flacco and Ryan who were drafted the same year.

Bring in David Lee then, that was horrible to watch, we have tooo much talent on offense to only score 10 points! Ricky Ronnie Bess Marshall O line, All that time Henne has and no one is open!?

If Denver had this line up for example would you want to play them!?

Season is over if you get your *** handed to you by a playoff team. If we can't beat the ravens now we can't beat them 2 months from now when the weather is even worse.

Clemons wishes he was as good as Henne, even if Henne isn't all that great.

When has he ever shown he could do so?

This was start #21, 3 interceptions, 1 TD or no Td's?

Enough of this ****, seriously, hang onto the hope if you will Rafi, Henne is not the answer, the Oine kept his uniform clean as well, Henne just did not get the job done, not has he all yr long.

If Sparano wishes to marry him, then if we have a bad yr, he should be fired, there is no other way to say it, Henne does not have it.

No. Because if Henne dinking and dunking with this offense isn't working, what makes you think it will with Pennington? He is more accurate, but the same thing will happen with Pennington. They will crowd the box, shut down our already bad running game, and force Pennington to beat us with his arm, which he can not.

Who knows where it has gotten us since this regime is obviously treating every season like a rebuilding season. This is year three. It is time to start producing.

    Big games:

    Patriots..3 int's
    Ravens..3 int's

So do tell, what makes you confident Henne is the Qb you think he is?

Yes he can. Because the offensive line is great at pass blocking and Chad Pennington can find open guys with all of that time. And then he makes accurate throws that allow them to run after the catch. He's a better scrambler as well.

Sure!! That was the reason. :glare: It had nothing to do with Penny's 0-4 performances during his last 4 starts. And it had nothing to do with Henne beating & competing with better teams when Penny was getting destroyed by them.

    Thats the deal though.

He seems so close...yet so far.

I dont know how healthy CP is and the real deal is whether Henne could handle a demotion (and still improve) like STEVE YOUNG did.

He was demoted when he went to San Fran but he grew under Montana and we now the rest.

Can Henne take that...mentally? ...I dont know...too many times QBs get demoted and get worse not better.

Like Padre said earlier...Sparano need to get some coffee, sit down and think really hard about the future because the future of many people/things as what he is thinking about will affect his own.

So don't try and find excuses for it. Recognize that you have 0 control over the situation and just enjoy (or loathe) the ride.

I don't know guys. I don't know how you can find one person to blame for this loss. Looked like a complete team meltdown to me. Really hard to find any flawless or even good performances.

When the box is crowded, he won't be able to do any of that. They know he can't threaten the defense like Henne can.

Who cares if he can take it? I like how Jeff Fisher put it a few weeks ago when he benched Vince Young for Collins. He basically said he was trying to win a football game and he didn't care if it hurt vince's feelings. You want mentally tough players on your team who can take the truth.
