11-5 in 08, deviate from it, 7-9 in 09, now 4-4 in 2020 None I think like a GM Zod, that is my approach to the game, Henne does not inspire confidence nor is he accurate enough consistently enough, to win games against good teams. That is as objective as I can be, we do not win because of Chad Henne, we win despite Chad Henne.
Hey! Read my posts. I still say start Henne. I just think that if winning at least 9 games was the ultimate goal, Pennington was the man. I don't think that was the ultimate goal and I didn't bet the farm on this year. I just said to myself, "It will be fun watching these kids play." Heck, I might have said it here.
Then I guess we should trade in the youngest starting team in the NFL for a bunch of veterans. This was a game where youth & inexperience etc caught up with us. A veteran group of Ravens made less mistakes, and we had no answer for Rice. End of story. We cant point fingers at ANY one person on this team. This was a COMPLETE team loss!!
The melodramatic moron who does the Madden games now, and some other guy who mostly sits quietly to himself.
Never is Sick, tired of the excuses for his play, seriously, enough is enough, I'd rather put Thigpen on the field than Henne because at least he has the balls to try and make things happen, Henne doesn't and he ****ING CHOKES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CANNOT ANYONE ELSE SEE IT!!!!
Believe me, I am more than tired of it as well. But all this Henne sucks *** and constant negativity does nothing but cast a black cloud over this forum. We have many bright spots to look at on our team. I know nobody wants to hear the whole we are getting better everyday thing, but that is what it is. I'm rather surprised that so many fans thought we would just come out and knock'em all down this year. It's Henne's full year as a starter....he's not exactly taking off but he hasn't exactly fallen on his face eithe IMO
I will say this though. If Pennington can help salvage this season and lead us to the playoffs, then start him. But, I doubt he can. So there's no reason to stop the progress of Chad Henne.
I shook my head when I saw him go out on the field. How do you not use the punter in that situation? Or anyone who isn't 300+ pounds.
He is the best option for the team, point blank. Can you not see how this offensive system handcuffs him? Even with Pennington in, we would be worse than 4-4, not better.
I totally agree with you there bro. As I have said on here before, one of Henne's unfortunate problems is his mental toughness. I just dont think a mentally tough QB chokes like he does in front of the end zone. Its something he needs to fix...real soon. Either that or make way for someone who does have it. I still think he can do it here. He has improved. However, if we fall to something like 4-7 or whatever...
The question wasn't about Chad Henne. It was about your statement that Sparano should be fired for sticking with Henne going into this year. I don't think I have to remind you of ALL of the good coaches that have been forced to start quarterbacks that were just servicable. You start the young guy until he proves himself unworthy. Then you get you another young guy. It's a three year cycle that has very little to do with the head coach. It's all about that kid. Is that kid a winner?
