I agree. My whole point was while he never looked really comfortable or good out there, it did seem he was making most of the correct reads. Just late. I am hopeful that that will speed up with more practice and more experience. At least he was not making wrong reads and throwing bad passes to the wrong receiver. Just trying to look on the positive side for next season.
Thought today was the last day for Add/Drop? I have some co-workers doing Masters work and that is the day they told me... Guess FB players can get executive signatures to sign up late? LOL

Gators new Defensive Coordinator called James Hearns today to tell him that his scholly was being pulled because he didn't have the grades to get in. I am sure we will take 1 or 2 guys no one expected us to get. What I mean by that is lower rated guys not as highly recruited. The only big name I am semi confident in stealing is Jalen Ramsey a 5 star DB committed to USC.
It's being reported that the Gators have a silent commitment from a defensive prospect. Many believe that person to be Jalen Ramsey. Those are just guesses. Gators will probably add another DT to the class. They were looking to add another DE but the guy they were going after also had grade issues and ended up going to Ole Miss. He would have been a Gator otherwise.
Florida Gators offered Ryan Timmons on Sunday and on Tuesday Ohio State Buckeyes did as well. He then decided to take his last official visit to Florida over Ohio State. He is from Kentucky so he may be able to take an unofficial to Ohio State. Looks like a three team battle between Kentucky, Ohio State, and Florida.
I hope you guys are watching the Florida basketball team this year. They are really really good. The way they play defense is fun to watch.
I have been watching.They have been blowing out so many good teams they should be ranked higher .They look like a Final 4 team at this stage.
I don't care about ranking. I care more about seeding in the tourney. Best thing about this team is they play great defense and good offense. You need that in the tournament
They look awesome. I have not gotten to watch a WHOLE game though. Things have been hectic lately, so only get to watch a bit here a bit there. However, very encouraged. My only fear is that they peak too soon. You want to play your best ball in March.

Good news. DT is really a need. So that can only help. IMO, big week for the BB team. Highest ranking in a while, hope they don't lose focus. If they keep playing hard like they have been, this team could be really special.
Yeah it really is a hole. He could come in and contribute immediately. I thought for sure he would go to Miami tho. Kennard Swanson the only FB we were going after is not going to be able to sign with Florida due to grades. He will be going the Juco route. Hopefully he gets his grades in order there. I am not really worried about this week for the BBall team. I mean ranking doesn't really matter to me. It's all about seeding and that's a body of work not a couple of games. The Ole Miss game is going to be very important tho.
Last night Florida's defense really showed up. Allowing only 10 points in a half would be a accomplishment over any team. The offense was poor in the first half but they picked it up in the 2nd half. The way this team plays defense is really special. I mean really special.
GREAT recruiting class! Taking Bostwick from UM was the icing on the cake. I really like the look of this class. Let's hope a majority end up being big time contributors to this team~!
The biggest thing we needed to do was get DT's and WR's. The Gators did that. They have a great class and I am sure next year will be no different
Florida still trying to get one more recruit. Trying to get Trevon Young who is a project TE/OL he is 6"6 260 and only played football two years. He is deciding between Florida and...... Eckerd College. The Scholly from Eckerd college is to play basketball not football.

Nice bounce back win today for the Gators! Gators going to get a test from Kentucky on Tuesday. Florida has a shortage of Bigs and the injury to Yeguete is tough. Will be interesting game. Rivalry game
It is a killer. Team was looking really good until the injury. Have some hope for the freshman (can't remember his name) to fill in pretty well. Plus Prater is coming back healthy. If we can just weather the storm and win a few tough ones, hopefully Yeguete comes back for the tournament and we really hit our stride then. That is the key, getting hot in March!
Florida was going to lose that game to Arkansas no matter what. You have to be talking about Michael Frazier II. Prater was back for that game. He played well. They said he was out for the Regular Season
The officiating was pretty bad. I have never seen a player called for a foul for boxing someone out. That was a huge win v.s. One of the top teams in the SEC.
Or not get called for literally pulling a player away from a loose ball. Or even on the play where Noel got hurt, he hacked our guy across his head. Refs were trying to keep the game close... After a while I was literally laughing the calls were so bad. I could not believe it.
Yeah the calls were atrocious. I totally forgot about him pulling him to the floor. That was laughable. The good news is the Gators won! We got Auburn up next!
