I only knew because it happened to me, my neighbors kids were playing with walkie talkies and my TV in my bed room was going on and off like crazy. IT took me over an hour to figure out what was going on. Darn kids!
yea would have me baffled also. As for the episode not a bad episode, the picture moving was definitely very interesting. Overall pretty good episode.
Solid episode. That walkie talkie thing got me too, I had no idea the signal could do that. Good call NJ.
New episode tonight...9/8C Ghostly Bounty Hunter - Jason and Grant investigate an estate with a deadly past before trying to help a haunted family.
Pretty weak episode tonite, IMO. The thermal footage was kinda cool though. I thought the sounds in the first house could somewhat be explained by the expansion/contraction of the wood in the house. The cold dry air from outside is going to be in constant battle with the warm humid air inside, especially around the fireplace. My apt. makes all kinds of noises like they described due to changes in temp/humidity during the night. I do like that they are featuring more of Kat. She makes slow episodes like this one a LOT easier to watch.
Tonight's episode: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base: TAPS answers a call from the U.S. Air Force to investigate the Wright-Patterson base in Dayton, Ohio, one of the oldest and largest military installations in the country. Also on the tv preview for this week's episode it mentions that TAPS captures 23 seconds of something on film that they have never experienced before....something of that nature.
Nice. It would be cool for someone to come up with a really strong piece of visual evidence that would lend to validate the supernatural field. If anyone would be able to catch such evidence I believe it would be this crew. Should be interesting.
Hmmmm....well, I hope it's more entertaining that last week. They do seem to get a lot of activity when it comes to military-related locations. That would make sense if there are such a thing as 'emotional imprint' hauntings...the high levels of stress and other emotions associated with these locations would tend to support the idea of increased activity. 23 seconds is a LONG time....I hope it's something good, and not just some shuffly, muddy-muffled audio clip
I'm not going to get my hopes up for a full apparition. They did however show a portion of the episode in which it seemed that something of intelligence was communicating with Jason and Grant with the use of a flash light, but again that could have just been the editing for the preview, you never know.
I think I saw a preview for another show soon to be aired InFlames. It mentioned them investigating a Haunted Pizza Hut where the spirits of angry italians try scare off customers to save them from eating mass produced pasta dishes.
Diners/Investigators: "What do you want from us??" EVP: "Unless....the owner's name.......ends in a vowel.....do not eat there....."
I was hoping for something more given the way they built up the preview from last week but the flashlight portion was very intriguing.
I'm just glad to have Jason, Grant, Steve, Tango, etc. back after watching G.H.I for a season. It just makes you realize once again how far superior the original usually is.
No doubt, and I love watching Grant's reactions to things, he really does have great expressions of surprise. What is good about this soap operas with Brian are long gone - or least we hope. And Brian being a AF man, must have killed him wasn't on this investigation.
NICE.. I wounder if they will put anything new in the destination truth spot since that was its season finally. (at least i think it was)
GHI would have been a lot better with out the to GH cast offs. Those guys are a couple of tools. And I agree the flashlight really made the show, the 2nd half in building 70 was pretty lame and I almost fell asleep.
Yeah seriously, they are saying it is one of if not the clearest EVP they have ever gotten in all of their years of investigation.
Well, it was an interesting EVP to say the least...it sounded like they were communicating across the very fabric of time, as if she was hearing Jay and Grant back in her time and vice-versa. It wasn't even remotely spooky to me...just rather curious. I wonder if something like that (communicating through gaps or tears in time) is quantum-ly possible. Looks like I'm going to have to hit the books... Now if they could just catch some really good video evidence this season (St. Augustine Lighthouse quality or better), I would be quite satisfied. At any rate, it's been a MUCH better season so far than GHI was.
yea, they've been back for a while...i think you can see full epi's from this season at scifi.com if you want to go over any that you missed.
Got to love the Mount Washington episode. We stop in there every year when the family hikes up that way!
New Season of Ghost Hunters (Original) Sorry I forgot to post this but the episode that aired originally is over. However it re-airs at 11pm (which is tonight September 3rd). So if you can DVR or watch it because it is a very good episode that pretty much blows away Ghost Hunters International's whole season (but I am a detractor of that show a little bit anyway).
I want to believe in ghosts (mainly because it does prove another plane of existence). Why can't they ever catch a really good picture though?
I've watched a few episodes but I've never seen anything that makes me say 100% there it is. If you've got links to some of the scenes post 'em up.
Seen the episode tonight and the thing that bothered me about it- was when Grant was half way in the attic. He heard footsteps coming at him and seen "something" coming towards him and he kinda, flaked out and came down. Then all they did was send the lowest ranking male member on the show that night to investigate the attic. That was it! I automatically thought of the movie "Billy Madison" and the scene where his kindergarden teacher reads the book "The Puppy that Lost His Way". Billy gets ticked off when the boy gives up looking for his puppy after putting up only one poster. He says, and I paraphrase, "You get up off your frickin butt and you find that frickin dog". That is what I felt like after the conclusion of the show. They should have thrown all of their high-tech gadets in the attic and found that frickin ghost. I am through with my rant and feel all better now. Still some pretty creepy stuff they picked up on the EVP in the attic.
