I can understand why people didn't like it. It took skill . People like arcade type games no matter how much they say they like sim. (*he he, it is fun living up to the internet dickwad theory*)
I must say, I am extremely disappointed with the missions. After the first two cities, it got extremely boring. It was fun with Roman, Jacob, Badman, Playboy X, Dwayne, etc. but this crap with the McReary's, Phil Bell, etc. = boring as hell. I'd expect these types of missions from Godfather or something. I have to take my 10/10 down to 9.5/10. Too many repetitive missions. Too many (waaaaaaay too many) chase missions. And, again, I don't care for what ANY of the later characters have to say. Wish you could just kill them all. Niko is by far my favorite GTA character of all time, though. Just wish he had CJ's flexibility.
That was Playstation Magazine's only complaint, the storyline seemed backwards. More exciting at the beginning than the end.

she's easy. i've had 5 dates, and only 1 bad date which was the first time...after the second date she let me smash and she hasnt denied me since then after 4 times..i took her to the bar twice(she doesn't drink), bowling, pool, and to the cabaret club.
The bar is crazy huh? You get out and are all drunk. Not to mention my car was gone I had to steal one to take her home. But yeah, shes a total ****

Are you talking about Michelle? You must be doing something wrong, I took her home in roman's taxi and she still put out. Not to mention I never change clothes. She pretty much seems to say yes no matter what.
Anyone beat the story mode yet? If not, There are 94 total story missions -- how many have you done? (Check 'stats' in the start menu. Everything is there)
Ditto I took her bowling first date....stood her up one time before and she still "listened to me talk". So far I dont think there is enough action. I dont like doing activities with people, I want to steal cars and shoot people!

Also, Badman is the greatest character in the history of GTA. Scratch that - the history of video games. I don't care what anyone says. In the next installment, he should be the lead character.

I just did the reconstruction job with Playboy and helped out Duane with his girl. Now that I got the hang of the weapon combat system the missions are pretty easy. Awesome game though, wicked addicting.
man this game is sick just got home from playin it at my buddies house on his 360 very killer game graphics looked great loved the things u could do from breaking into peoples cars loging into the cops computers. the cars look just like the real thing. we got to playboy and did his mission in the construction site was last one we did the driving is alot different very good game though. cant wait to upgrade to the ps3 or 360 and get it for myself

I killed 15 or so on a mission last night but only had two stars for the escape part. I expected more to be honest.
Maybe it was because you were on a mission...I did it just driving around and they had helicopters after me, hummers, the whole map was red.......I was screwed...
You want more? Hop in a Helicopter and fly over a section of the map you haven't unlocked yet. Full Wanted level instantly.
Where can I find the helicopter? And whats the deal with the "Unknown Contact"? I used a waypoint but couldnt wuite reach it as it seemed to end in the tunnel...
I saw that as a point of interest on the map and hadn't bothered to notice what it was. First thing Im doin when I get home
I hear you, I've played maybe 12 hours so far and have barely broken into it. Not to mention I haven't even tried multi-player yet. If nothing else Rockstar has made sure I'm getting my 60 dollars worth.
