Heck I havent even been "online" in a week because I have been playing this game so I have no need to be online.
Yeah this is one game where online doesn't really matter to me. I'll probably try it out at some point but I bought this game for the single player story.
This game is AWESOME. They're always awesome. When I popped in the original, I couldnt believe how awesome it was. Then Vice city came out, and I was in shock how cool it was. Then San Andreas blew me away. This is no different. Its the same great formula with awesome upgrades. Funny as hell, and for the magnitude of this game, the graphics are pretty great. its cool that you can drive over a bride, see a building 25 blocks away in the city skyline, and actually go drive to that building and climb to the top if you want. i know is nothing new, but the next gen graphics with that kind of open world has really impressed me. and the story is funny as hell, and cool with some nice twists and turns. And Brucie is friggin hilarious.
I just love this game. You seem to get your money's worth. It is so long. I am only like 25% done in the game. So many f'ed up plot twists. The only thing is that some missions get frustrating. I retry over and over; I seem to love it in the hospital. Well I guess I am not meant to be a criminal.
I agree, I have not been a fan of this series, but I cant stop playing this one. I do wish I could get better at handling the vehicles though. I am having all kinds of trouble taking turns.
The higher end cars handle much better. The ones that look like a Porsche and Ferrari handle real well.
Love the Ferrari, finally got it yesterday. Is there a way to save cars Ive stolen? Im tired of losing it after I do a mission.

Don't take a car to the bar either when you're hanging out or going on a date. My car is always gone when I leave the bar.
Gotcha. Anyone else notice when you take a car back to the safehouse there is an identical one (sometimes different color) already parked there? BTW set-up a date with "Law Chick" on the dating website. It'll help you out down the road.
We're sad, sad people, man. Actually, what's stopping me from getting a PS3 is the fact that a new 80GB model with PS2-backwards compatibility is coming out next month.
Made that mistake. I always forget to go into missions with full armor. I got to the subway before dying.
Is any mission as hard as the remote control air plane mission in San Andreas? I'm not very far in missions. These games always take me forever to finish because I have a very short attention span and always end up starting impromptu demolition derbies with cab drivers or taking a nice long swim around the city.
I thought I was pretty far in the missions til I looked at the stats last night and I was only at 32%, I know thats for everything but wow, this game is huge. Yeah there are some tough missions. Missions with Packie seem to be pretty tough from what I've seen so far.
You certainly get your $60 worth in this game. This is probably one of the best games I have ever played. Ever. I can't believe how much depth there is to this game. Even the bowling is fun!
Beat both endings this past week and it didn't disappoint, the last mission was long but a little easy. Overall a great game and I can now start exploring the whole city.
Just got done with Manny. Took me three times to figure out the sniper rifle, but once I did, it was cool. I love the sniper rifle.

I had to do that one...and maybe two other more then once. But so far I have gotten through them well. I have missed alot of missions though. Now that I'm in Bohan, do I have to stay in Bohan, or can I go back to the "old neighborhood"? I know Dmitri's looking for me, I didnt know If I had to stay there. I need to find me some more guns.
Dont worry about Dmitri, all he does is call you once and tell you hes gonna kill you like an *******. You can go to the old neighboorhood, but theres really no point unless you have missions near there or objectives. Do missions with Playboy X. After the contsruction job you get an upgrade to the AK-47. EDIT: You have to do the missions with Elizabeta before you hook up with Playboy X
I havent tried it yet. I've been trying to get through the game first. But I might check it out. What do you do anyways?
