Thanks, alen. I was happy with the way they played. 16 points to Manning is impressive.

Dude, your defense is good and your running game is real good. And congrats on the win.

    But Sanchez sucks.

Hmm, trades for soon to be FA's are outright signing of FA's..

Built to last that team, by way of example, the Patriots have 20% or more of their roster made up with UDFA's...that is, indeed, "other means".

Why do you suppose thinking Dolfans tolerate Jeff Ireland's weasel behavior?

He is better at finding UDFA's who can play than Belicheck is, that means long term success, meanwhile your Jets are recycling Jason Taylor.

And only one deep ball, which is surprising and impressive. The play that they gave up the deep ball on was tough coverage. You're looking at 3 deep coverage and a flood to the wide side and a 9 route by Wayne on the boundary. Cromartie was stuck with Tamme running wheel route (tagged on to the Out route) and Garcon with post. Plus, I don't know what Brodney Pool was looking at. He was way out of position. He must've committed to Wayne on the deep route early.

Our defense and our running game are unreal. Sanchez needs to improve if we're going to beat New England. This guy is horrible and is only good on the last drive. We need him for 4 quarters this Sunday.

Reggie Wayne: Reception, Yard. Those were his stats. If Darrelle Revis is NOT the best defensive player in the league, then I don't know who. He makes the biggest difference, at least. Congrats Jets Fans! Enjoy the next week.

    It's us against the world.

He made some good throws late. He was rough in the first three quarters though. He needs more consistency.

I wouldn't call him the best but he's up there. He may not be the best cornerback in the league but again, he's up there. I know you will surely argue it and that's fine.

That's your opinion, and I respect it. However, this guy is just unbelievable. Time to focus on Brady. I wonder who you guys might root for. I guess it's a win-win situation.

Thank you. I agree, he's very talented. His mirror skills are as good as anyones in this league. I still think people are forgetting Nnamdi Asomugha and possibly Charles Woodson.

I'm rooting for New England. It's pretty easy for me, since they have my favorite coach as well as a slew of players I like.

you guys have a better shot at knocking Tom Brady out of the game, which is the only way you'll win. wouldn't put it past Ryan, son of Bounty Ryan.

I do think Revis is the best corner in the league. I would have said Nnamdi, but he struggled this year even against us... perhaps he was injured though?

I study these things, the Jets were THE most aggressive NFL team in signing CFLers in 10, something like 6 guys were added, you guys even worked out Phil Hunt, nice effort, the difference is, when a cat like Yonus Davis comes out in 2011, or Manny A this offseason, we have first dibs.

The Jets would be so good if they had a QB. We should be thankful they think Sanchez is their guy. They will just have to be that much better at other positions. Aside from Hot Dog they played a good game and deserved a win. Rex Ryan is a jack*** and does make some of those new HC mistakes but he's still at this point a better coach than Sparano. [Except his game winning FG fist pump needed some serious work] At worst 3-2 in the postseason after two seasons says it all. With a QB who is really not that much better. The sour grapes you see around here are embarrassing. Just give credit where it's due and move on. Maybe the Jets wouldn't be so 'lucky' all the time if we had a head coach who could win more games at the end of the season. Just a thought.

Look how great Manning is and what is his playoff record? That was the 7th time his team went one and out in the playoffs. I agree about Sanchez. He is not an elite QB and the Jets would be much better if he were. But I still believe he is a QB you can win with and he will only get better.

Obviously you can win some games with him. I'm not sure if he'll ever become a top QB. They will need to build a really good team around him. Which they've already done to an extent. Peyton and the Colts remind me a lot of Marino and the Dolphins in the 90s. The Colts this year were mostly crap due to injuries. They're not even in the playoffs without Peyton. Or even if Jacksonville was a little better. Marino would have a ring too if he could have played a Super Bowl against the 06 Bears with Rex Grossman at the helm. He just had the misfortune of playing in a time when the NFC was dominant and then falling victim to Marv Levy's no huddle in Buffalo. The rest of the AFC couldn't solve those guys for almost five years.

I don't really think there's any question that better QB play increases your odds of playoff success. Nobody can argue that. But there are other factors involved.

They all play important roles on the team and none were acquired in the draft. That was my only point.
