What a failure... i hope they got Garrard on speed dial cause i would like to lose this year with a little dignity and not get blown out because the QB cant get the ball past the line of scrimmage. I know thats not all his fault but its up to him to pump fake and adjust no matter how ****ty the O line is. This is just terrible all around.

Sorry I actually played football and understand which responsibilities fall on which players. Say that to my face and you'll be living in a hole in the ground though you POS.

Nope, THill is locking onto Wr's De just reads his eyes then gets their arms up to bat the ball

That is on THill, not the Wr corps.

OR, your Rookie Qb operates the offense and does not lock onto receivers, when he does we see the results

This is Qb development for a Qb with 19 career starts.

Tannehill has always had this problem. Either he needs to find better lanes, or he needs to raise his release point.

Regardless of what the scoreboard says or any game situation you're in, the offense needs to run with the fact that you're using a rookie QB at the forefront of your mind.

  11. don't give me the rookie crap. look at what Cam Newton did last year, or what RG3 is doing RIGHT NOW or the 'Skins.

Good to put the reality of this season in perspective. We will be underdogs all year. A win will have to be earned against odds.

    Wrong.

Short passes dont HAVE multiple reads. He is SUPPOSED to be looking towards his first. Its on the offensive line to chop at the arms of the defensive lineman because they don't NEED to engage for longer than a couple seconds.

The comparisons will come out, but lets not forget the 2007 team lost the starting QB(green), RB(Brown), CB(Allen) all for the season, the o-line was in shambles as well, bringing in guys off the street, etc

    This team is healthy.

Cam had Steve Smith. RG3 has Garcon.

Most of our starters wouldn't make their team.

An assumption that we have more talent than they do. It isn't really that he is a rookie. It is more about what the rest of the team is.

I don't care. It's a personal attack, not just to one member, but to many others here that are Canadian. ACtually, now that I think of it, Im probably going to report the post to the mods as well.

SUPPOSED to have multiple reads, Thill is not using them..the De's know this and just watch his eyes

JMart's technique was fine, THill did not look off of his receiver made it easy

I'm more pissed at Mike Sherman for putting his QB in bad situations. Move that QB out or something or stick to the running game that was working. WTF.

Everyone and their mothers knew (or should have known) that this was an issue with Tannehill. You don't develop a young QB by forcing him into situations where he's basically guaranteed to make mistake. You provide him with the means to not make mistakes. The mistakes, in this case, giving him outside help. If you don't do that, at least not have him run a 2 minute drill against a very good and aggressive defense when there's really no need.

Exactly, he's a head case and #1 WRs are overrated. That's just common sense.

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

While I agree the O-line has responsibility for the tipped passes, RT needs to make some adjustments. IMO.

Dude I was being sarcastic....:pity: Our board has had prior posts completely over reacting about Tanny........
One way or another Philbin & crew will know what we have in Tanny this year.

Miami has more rushing yards, but CBS gave the check to the Texans.

What you are saying, is correct, yes. RT however is locking on to receivers though. Which makes it easier for an aware DL like Watt is, to read the eyes of the QB, disengage himself, step back, and get his hands up. It's a combination of the two really.

Just saying. He obviously isn't preventing Cutler from having a big day, and Marshall has a TD on him IIRC.

My issues are less with Tannehill and more with the wr crew, and our safety play. Errors in Ireland's strategy. (Naannee and Johnson, who is not on this team)
