We squandered too many chances for those who watched.
Those who didn't watch might be rendered clueless.

Let's see if we can at least avoid a blackout next Sunday. I think Ross needs to buy a lot of tickets for that to happen.

Well if you would have told me the Texans were going to score 21 points in less than 2 mins I would have laughed at you. *sigh*

I honestly feel like if that didnt happen, there's a very decent chance we win this game.

Sherman called an awful game. He is the veteran coach that should help a rookie QB to succeed. We didn't see that today.

Not sure the playcalling and the reads Tannehill was reading was pretty bad. I don't think Henne had so many balls batted down.

I would thank this post if i wasn't on my phone. I want them to belong for four quarters, not one or two. The rebuilding rams nearly beat the lions. That is a loss you can feel ok about. The miami roster is devoid of talent to the point of being comical, if we can get ireland out of here after the season maybe this crap will have been worth it.

Yeah, but I think that will improve as the season drags on and RT improves. Honestly though, If we dont have those batted INTs, or that fumble by the concussed DT, and we're able to keep running the ball regularly like we were, who knows, we coulda scored on some of those drives. I know, I know, woulda shoulda coulda... but I dont think we were as bad as it looked. This is a top team in the AFC we played today. Without a young team like us, shooting itselves in the foot, we woulda fared much better.

Matthews needs to play next week or at least Armstrong more so that there is a deep threat on the field. Matthews needs to rotate the with the other three WRs and that's your WR group. They need to beat Oakland next week and I think they matchup well. If Carson isn't on fire, they can stop the running game.

Alshon and Hill were available. At least Martin can fall on a fumble. :(

Yes, but at this time it's appparent that Ireland is averse to drafting playmakers, and whiffs when he attempts to get them.

The fact that Dansby and Burnett can't cover a TE isn't based on one game. The fact that Clemons couldn't find his way in a telephone booth isn't based on one game. The fact that Richard Marshall is not a CB isn't based on one game. The fact that we don't have a pass rusher opposite Wake isn't based on one game. The fact that Sean Smith just isn't the shutdown corner you'd need opposite of Marshall isn't based on one game. The fact that the WR group isn't good enough isn't based on one game.

At some point, we have to realize that this team isn't even close to being as talented as many people believe year in, year out. It's not the coaching, it's not the playcalling, it's the bloody talent, and it has been for the last decade.

Personally... I think its a combination. I dont think RT was using his eyes enough to deceive the D. However at the same time, on the one, Martin disengaged from Watt, was a good 2 feet from him probably as Watt jumped and batted the ball. On another deflection, the same thing with Incognito. However, that being said... as I said, the DL is still reading the eyes, once that throwing motion starts, and he's staring at your side of the field, just get the hands up, and its over from there. It's a combination IMO. OL needs to contain and hold their blocks better, but RT needs to use those eyes better.

Look at other teams around the league and you'll see teams with just as many needs. This team can win, it needs Ryan Tannehill to play well far earlier than expected.

2 were definitely on the line, JJ Watts just stopped and jumped while the lineman stood there, the 3rd was more on RT he stared down his WR on the man jumped.

On the 4th down I I think the defender jumped before Ryan started his motion and batted the pass on his way down. That's terrible on two fronts. RT is that predictable, and RT doesn't even adjust after seeing dude in the air.

Eagles score a late TD, then pick off Weeden and take the 17-16 win. Damn. Alot of good finishes here in week 1.

None of those things were said in the post I responded to. What was said was that we have a "player problem" that makes us "always find a way to lose."

You are kidding. If Bush goes down theyt may not even get a win. AT this point he is the only player that we have on either side of the ball you can consider a playmaker.

If only I had a dime for everytime ...

You know why Cleveland almost pulled an upset today over Philly even though Weeden arguably played worse than Tannehill? They have more talent on defense is why. D'qwell Jackson, Rubin, Sheard, Haden, Ward, they'd all start instantly on the Miami Dolphins. Give them a decent QB and people will wonder, what the heck's up with Cleveland. We're more than one good QB away, and have been. We're a properly built team away.

I understand why you are upset with me. I guess I would be upset if I had just lost a bundle on the Dolphins too. It was you who was telling everyone before the game to take the Dolphins and the points. You may not take my comments seriously, but I can assure you that anyone who follows your advise in regards to the Dolphins, will soon be living in the poor house.
