I doubt he will be a Gator. He would be setting him self up for a long ride on the bench.
I agree, don't they have a guy named Bentley as the already official successor to Tebow ? Some even think he might be better than Tebow.
John Brantley and yes. He might be a better passer, But not better player. He will be a redshirt Sophmore next year. We also have a QB commit as of now in the mold of Tim Tebow and are looking for one more QB. Marve would not beat out Brantley so it would be a waste.
To me he should just stay put and let the cookie crumble whatever way it falls. You made a decision and you stick with it. Rarely does it benefit a QB to change unless he moves down a level, such as Flacco did going from Pittsburgh to Delaware.
Right but one of the programs interested is LSU. I know they weren't too happy with Jarrett Lee starting this year and throwing an abundance of interceptions, including something like six pick for six's. If he goes to LSU, he may win that job. However, I think an SEC defense like UF will tear him a new one because they jump routes so well and he'll throw it in double-coverage or just about into anything. Marve can't read a defense if his life depended on it.
I believe he was also considering USF but that may have been blocked by UM due to the fact that we have them on schedule for the next three or so years.
I think he should stay put because he can beat out Harris. Short term I think Harris has alot on him, But when you look at potential I think Marve could be better. Besides the U is going to bring in great talent and with that defense they will always have a chance to win games
If Marve is even thinking about transferring he should pack his bags. If you want to be an elite player you do whatever it takes to succeed. Marve should be talking about how hard he is going to work in the off-season to improve. Miami doesn't need a QB who is questioning if he can be the starter and can't seem to figure out how not to get suspended.
Yes, on the scout.com Hurricane board they said that no way he goes to USF for that reason.
another player suspended for the Emerald Bowl. Long Snapper Chris Ivory.

They aren't big losses IMO. Whats interesting is that Nathan Longshore will be starting this game. He struggles to stay consistent. Hopefully he'll throw a couple our guys way.
I've been debating all week whether or not i want to trapse into the city and go to the game. I would be going by myself since most of my friends have cal tickets for the student and alumni sections. I dont want to sit by myself and it might rain. So, im thinking tv might be the way to go.
Lucky you have that choice, lol. Whichever you choose, hope you have fun.
Anybody else buy this?
Looking for a huge win today against Cal in their own backyard. The country will be introduced to Jacory, Spence, Forston and Johnson. Go Canes!!
you have more confidence than me Edwin.. Go Canes!
i tried to tell everyone about marve earlier this year and got ripped
Looking forward to seeing your defense vs Jahvid Best. That guy is a stud, wish ND had landed him
Hoping for a good game, gl to your Canes.
I'm with you Marty....very anxious about this.....a lot less confidence than tomorrow.
Well according to the Hurricanes Scout.com board, Marve has cleaned out his dorm room, and is not on campus, and not expected back next week when school starts. So it looks like he is a goner.
How on earth is this game played in that field
Do we need to see someone break their neck in the endzone
Both teams on the same side
We don't even do this bush league in Canada
our pants are ugly as hell.. that day glo orange is badddddd
Offensive line is getting blown off the ball and so far the game plan Nix is sticking to is terrible. We have zero identity on Offense and it is really sad to see. Glenn Cook has to be one of the worst Mike backers in college football this year, takes bad angles and gets tied up in the wash way too much.
This shows that we are no match for a Pac-10 team so far.
It seems like every time we have a somewhat important game we come completely unprepared.
Finally a TD
randy shannon needs to go back to being a coordinator - patrick nix needs to go somewhere else and we need a real head coach. Im so tired of us being unprepared and looking stoopid on both sides of the ball. Something must be wrong when your team MVP is the punter.
Harris looking settled and poised now.
As bad as their passing attack is, it's going to look good if we can't pressure the QB.
Come on, guys.
The 5 yd line just tripped the Cal QB...
Longshore is having a terrible game, take away Best and this game is not even close. I am happy with Jacory Harris and he is playing, kid is going to be a very good QB for us over the next 3 years.
Typical 'Canes ball...a false start, then the Rb picks up 14 yds...
BTW..y'all made it sound like a blow out so I just flipped the game on...
4th qtr...Cal up 17-14...
'Canes Rb just lateraled the ball to Cal...lucky the play was a no call due to a false start...
There was a time when you EXPECTED both teams to win. That is the glory we need to restore in South Florida.
Exactly, S. Florida was the home of winners...across the board, the Canes would crank out #1 picks and All Pros and the Marino Phins would win all the time.
Cal is driving at the moment the "U"'s defense up the middle is soft as a donut.
Andddd...the miss on the FG...
I'd like to see a Canes team show some heart for a change...all of our really good teams had Qb's and Defensive players who would make a play.
you ****ing idiot.

NahhhHarris just fumbled at our 5yd line...
We have not had a decent Qb since Glen Dorsey.
