I think there's a club in downtown Atlanta called Dick Bumpas.
From what I am hearing Eric Moncur and Randy Phillips will be back with the program next year due to medical exceptions. Collin McCarthy has also gained an extra year of eligibility die to Medical redshirt last year.
That's awesome! I think a lot of fans forget the U was without their two best players on D last year.
Here are a few videos of some of our top recruits coming in.

Ray Ray looks like a man amongst boys just from sheer size in this video.

Dyron Dye has a nice frame that just needs to fill out more. Blocking punts is a definite plus.

Lamar Miller, pretty good return skills as well.

Do not sleep on Highsmith at QB, he had an excellent senior year.

Kid can play DT or even switch over to OG.
Moncur would have definitely been our best DE and I think the team missed his Senior leadership on Defense. McCarthy played well his sophomore year and did have a few vicious blocks on special teams before getting injured. If they all come back healthy it makes the defense that much deeper.
My toes are tingling with the thought of these guys coming back 100% and the addition of a DC like Bumpas or Tresey.
Our DL this year should be pretty daunting. Hopefully they can apply enough pressure that our perceived weaknesses in the secondary can be masked.
9/5/09 cannot come soon enough.
I am really, really interested to see what type of elevation in play we get from Forston, Ojomo and Bailey. Hurtt needs to work with Ojomo and Bailey on their pass rush moves, multiple moves, setting up an O Lineman and better hand usage.
Forston should improve his power and durability. I think last season a lot of the true freshman playing on defense wore down, especially Spence.
Randy struggled a bit last year from what I remember but he's probably our best DB.
Kffin accuses Meyer of recruiting violation
It's going to get bloody and messy in the SEC very quick. With Meyer, Saban, Petrino, Kiffin, Mullen (who am I missing??) plus the pressure to win as well as the millions of dollars these coaches are making they are going to go at each other like rabid pitbulls.
I'll just sit back and
Swasey needs to earn his money this offseason. And I agree - barring injury I'm looking for Forston, Ojomo and Bailey to be our best group of DL since the 2001 team. Don't forget about Marcus Robinson either. I know we have him listed as a LB but he lined up at DE a lot last year and was an absolute beast at getting to the QB. I'm also looking for big things out of Gavin Hardin.
Oh no, between Ojomo, Bailey, Robinson, Moncur if he is healthy and even Steven Wesley who made some plays from DE last year we have a pretty deep rotation there.
Thats really good, lets Vernon and Dye Redshirt, if Dye even gets in, he has issues with grades.
I agree, they should not only NOT offer a scholarship, but send Arthur packing. I really don't want this kid around if this fat turd is coming with him. I heard today he wants the U to buy him a house next to the campus. I cannot believe that is true, but it goes to show you how all of this surrounding Brown has become such a circus.
Manny Navarro from the Herald feels that UGA's Willie Martinez might be the front runner for the DC job. Seems like a natural fit considering he played for the U as a member of the '83 Championship Team.
The latest name in the mix is....
Don't shoot the messenger. Just passing along what I'm reading. Announcement may come this weekend or Monday.
Regardless of who it is, it's good to know that Randy's decided he's not going to juggle both jobs.
Just a heads up for my fellow Hurricanes fans. I follow a specific site for updates and tidbits on the U and there is especially one guy I respect when it comes to recruiting and information. His name is Shadow and he just put out his recruiting review and if you have not read it already it is a good read.
Nice writeup from Manny.
Oh man that's good stuff. You been holding out Joey!!
I especially like this part when referring to the OL:
Sorry Bro, I prefer that site over any of the other Canes sites, still has some constantly complaining NEDS but nowhere near as bad as Ferman's site.
Shadow is the recruiting Guru on the board, also Nole80, he is another one of the recruiting Guru's, I can't remember off the top of my head what his real name is but I know he is a guy similar to Larry Bluestein and Tom Lemming who does it for a living.
Have you heard anything regarding the DC search? Shannon was on a flight to NYC earlier this morning and that got everyone speculating again but it turns out he's just going to a Nike Camp and flying back tonight.
And you're right about Ferman's board - it's an absolute joke sometimes. Too many moles and lack of respect for each other.
There a few posters on there who I trust and I mainly go there to read there stuff.
Man, these Duke home-made refs are something else.
Yeah theres some serious hometown cooking going on. We gotta keep the defensive intensity up on the perimeter and I think we'll be ok.
Officiating is getting really bad now, and we're up by 10.
Oh man. Dwayne Collins is dominating in the paint.
I love what my boy from Flanagan (Adrian Thomas) has brought to the table recently. I've played ball with him countless times and always thought he had great potential. Little ol' me......he's posterized me plenty.
16 point lead cut to a tie in less than 5 minutes.
Fire Frank Haith. What a pathetic coach. Chalk up another L where we had a 10+ point lead in the game. Unless of course McClinton saves his *** as usual.
Ouch. Let's relax a bit - Haith has nothing to do with the officiating. Its a tie game now - let's see if we can squeak this one out.
If we do - it would be the greatest week in the history of Miami basketball.
I'm just not a believer in Frank Haith. For a team this talented to let up on so many games (+10 at some point in probably 5 of our 7 losses, not including the outcome of this game) this year..
Like I said, maybe McClinton saves this team today. I hope so. He's the best. We'll see.
But yes, the officiating has been terrible. It's eased up a bit, but now that the game is coming down to the wire, here they go again with the B.S. calls. This is a complete rip off.
Now it's a matter of crashing the glass. Duke is killing us with the offensive rebounds. It will be the reason why we lose today if we do. Can't blame the refs.
Why are they getting wide open threes on every possession now? Come on.
I ****ing hate Duke!! A bunch of snowflakes that do nothing but chuck 3's all game. You shot 50 and you're bound to hit 20!!
Why the **** does Adrian Thomas take the last shot??????
You've got to be kidding me.
Jack McClinton is a God.
That was sick. From 5 point range.
What a shot to send it to OT
Asbury takes a bad shot then comes back down and throws an inbound pass up for grabs.
Man, this one would hurt to lose. We are clearly the better team out there today.
lack of junior varsity level intelligence lost us a free early ticket to an early at large bid.
Lack of a TRUE PG has killed us ALL SEASON.
What a friggin knucklehead Rios is.
Kid threw it all away.
Couldn't agree more. Eddie Rios was going to be a beast. No doubt. He's an idiot.
Lance Hurdle is just too timid and inconsistent for me. Solid game against Wake, but still.
WOW @ James Dews taking that shot. That sums it all up right there.
