After another loss last night against the Pacers, I think this quote from Coach Van Gundy sums it up best - "Look, we're just playing terrible, we really are," Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy said. "Offensively, it's just really bad right now. We can't score, we can not score. I need to look at everything, playing different guys, I don't know. It's just not working in the least." http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=300105011
I agree man, it just seems that there is not something right about this team, just can't put my finger on it.
Magic 90, Pacers 97 ****ing inexcusable, how bad they're playing right now....... Game Recap Box Score
Yeh Roy's play has been a huge bonus for the injury plagued Pacers. But no way no how should he have put that much against Dwight. Not to mention Grainger, Murphy, Hansborough, and Foster, all the size depth is out for the Pacers. The Magic baffle me sometimes.
In the last minute of the game, the Magic were 6 points back trying to catch up with making shots and fouling, and they show Vince Carter on the bench laughing it up with a few other guys. Wtf do you have to laugh about losing to a team with 10 wins, that lost by 43 point to the Knicks the game before?
Raptors 108, Magic 103 The bastards "**** the bed" once again.......... Game Recap Box Score I suppose when/if they ever pull their collective heads out of their asses, this "adversity" could be beneficial for them to go through.
Yeah, I'm glad I wasn't able to watch that game last night. Although, it seems like they're finally getting as disgusted as the coach and us fans about the team performance. They need to have a players meeting and get fired up. Wake up Magic!
Lost another one tonight against the Wizards. That's four in a row. We're 24-12. It would be kind of funny if we actually beat the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow night after this last week of ****ty basketball.
I agree, but with the way Orlando is playing it looks as though a high-school team could take them out.
Hell's yeah! Beat the crap out of them! It only took four losses to bad teams and an injured starter to blow out the 2nd place Hawks. Great win Magic!
J.J Reddick is playing with a new style this season. He attacks the basket, and he's making his jumpshots. Confidence is soaring for him. I love Ryan Anderson. He should be starting at the 4 and Lewis at the 3. TD13 was right.
With the way Reddick is playing this year, I wouldn't mind having JJ start while "Candy-***" Carter comes off the bench. At least until "Candy-***" stops sucking at his job, and can stop crying every time he gets a hang-nail. Doesn't happen often, every now, and then I'll come up with a decent idea.............
Yea, Carter is killing me this season. He needs to step up his game, otherwise we can't compete with Cleveland or Boston.
Magic 97, Nuggets 115 , Orlando got their *** handed to them tonight, the game wasn't as close as the final score indicates. Game Recap Box Score
It didn't look too bad at halftime, but in the 3rd quarter Denver just exploded. You could say they kicked us in the Nuggets.
SVG has lost this team IMO. The Magic are stacked across the board and I think they don't want to play for SVG.
You got to have "nuggets" before someone can kick them, this team hasn't played like they have "a set" in a long time.
I don't know if I agree with that assessment, I don't usually don't like to place blame with one player, but I think "Candy-***" Carter is bringing the team down. Carter is nothing more than a "volume scorer", can't play defense to save his life. What's more annoying than that is the fact every damn time he bumps into someone or drives to the rim, he falls to the floor for five minutes or more like he was sniped.
Just my opinion, but when the star of teh team has to tell the HC to stop yelling all the time and to care about his players, he's lost them. Have you ever seen the faces of the players when they're walking away from him? Constant yelling at them and pointing out flaws. IMHO players would rather hear something positive every once in a while.
Fair enough, I just don't see a coach out there that would be better than SVG to bring in, who's realistically available. You don't want to bring in a "soft" players coach, because then the "inmates" will run the asylum.
Magic 87, Trail Blazers 102 Game Recap Box Score That's it Vince, run out the door so you don't have to explain why you suck.
I'm not either, with the way Orlando is currently playing I'd be shocked if they keep the final score within twenty. Probably something along the lines of: Lakers- 125 Magic- 93
1. No offensive or defensive continuity 2. Sloppy ball security 3. Ball movement on the offensive-end is horrid, they would rather jack-up contested jumpers. 4. VC still thinks he's in Jersey, so he has got to go three on one all the time. which makes Carter a volume scorer(takes more shots than he needs to), instead of being efficient. 5. Point-guards are ok offensively, but are a major liability right now on the defensive end.
Magic 92, Lakers 98 They played with more heart tonight, but came up a little short. Game Recap Box Score
